Migraine as a symptom of pregnancy

Help!
Does anyone have any experience of migraine as a symptom of pregnancy? I'm at approx. 9dpo in the 2WW and yday suffered from a migraine, accompanied by a numb, tingling sensation in my left hand. Usually I only experience migraine a day or so before AF is due, but have never before had any numbness. This seems a bit early. I tested negative this morning. I'm just interested to know if anyone else has any thoughts on this migraine thing and whether this is common. I'm hoping it;s a symptom but probably just early AF...

I get migraines just before every period. I also suffered badly with breast feeding but over 3 pregnancies I have never once had a migraine during the pregnancy. It was a lovely break from them!!

I suffer with migraines and often get them before AF, been told it's due to drop in oestrogen. I haven't read about them being a sign of pregnancy and I looked in to it coz I was worried pregnancy might make them worse. I have read pregnancy hormones do increase their frequency for some women so you never know....

I had one at 9dpo and had cramping. I got bfp two days later so think it was implantation. Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for your replies ladies!! Ooooh, I'm excited now ImBrian. I really hope that's it...

My sister told me she suffered a migraine in very early stages of pregnancy before she knew she was pregnant and unlike me, she doesn't usually suffer from them. So I hoped it might be a family thing and that it's the same for me. But since then hadn't been able to find any information to support this.

Y'day some of my other symptoms had disappeared and after the BFN I felt gutted, convinced myself it's all in my head. But today, I woke up with a good bout of queasiness, so fingers crossed!

Sorry InShock, only just saw your message - thanks for asking. No news yet as trying to hold out till Friday before testing again, but do still feel tight and bloated across my tummy and today I felt very irritable at work - which I would like to put down to hormones, but it could well just be me preferring to put it down to that :) Will give you an update on Friday.

Here's my update as promised... AF arrived last night (I think). Lighter than usual, but non-the-less pretty constant, so although I wanted to think it's implant bleeding it's looking more and more unlikely. I feel different too - not got the heavy feeling in my tummy anymore so I'm convinced something was going on and that maybe for some reason my body rejected it :( Oh well, there'll be other months. But for now I think we're going to wait as I'm not up to another month of this just yet.
