Last week I had a hsg test. My right is blocked from emergency surgery from appendicitis aged 18. Is there anyway I can conceive with just one clear tube , also my cycles are 28 day spot on and seem to ovulate around day 12-16 - any advise would help I am 37 and never have had children.

My friend, age 36, is pregnant with her first after one of her tubes was removed last year.

Good luck

Thanks for your message - we have been trying for 2.5 years! Hopefully I won't need ivf x

I have only 1 tube (ectopic) and told never likely to get pregnant naturally. 1 round of ivf = twins quickly followed by a natural surprise pregnancy so ended up with 3 under 2

Never say never

Good luck sassy. Try eating fertility boosting foods - sweet potato is meant to help, and stay away from peas and rhubarb! (Unsure how much evidence is in my claims but the book 'The fertility diet' was my bible when ttc)

Can't hurt!

Thanks ladies will try that "bible" as I love peas ha ha and do need guidance as I have IBS so eating plan always goes out the window. Such a blessing to have twins and natural! Baby dust to all ladies struggling. It's hard but have to stay positive. I take pregnacare vitabotics.
