  1. The year of the rainbow baby. We pledge to be positive (most of the time). We pledge to cry less, shag more and swear lots. This is the one wannamummabees!

    The Rules...

    (1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
    (2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
    (3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
    (4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
    (5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
    (6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
    (7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
    (8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Happy New Year! Smile

Terrible night, woken by all the celebrations at midnight followed by dark thoughts preventing sleep. Husband now at work and my stop smoking resolution is not off to a good start! Angry Not much tobacco left so will start when it's gone, probably about lunch time! Grin

Will be spending the day cleaning and starting on the wedding photo book (10 months post event!) and maybe a bit of crochet! Really going to live it up in 2014! Wink

Can I please join you ladies? I had a natural miscarriage at 7+3 which unfortunately started on Christmas Day. I think it's all stopped now and I need to get a BFN on Friday to get the all clear. Then we plan to wait for one period before ttc again.

Happy new year to you all. 2013 was actually a brilliant year for me in general. I got married, had an amazing honeymoon, bought our first house and got a job I really wanted. So I'm trying to remember all these things and not feel too miserable. I'm looking forward to 2014!

Hi Deus - Sorry to hear that, mine just finished too, waiting till Sat to get a bfn so we can start again!

Think I need to remember what was good about 2013 too, we did finally get married and saw whales in the wild on honeymoon! Not too shabby!

HAPPY NEW YEAR BEEATCHES! (Start as positively as you mean to carry on right? Right?!?)

Hi deus, welcome and huge hugs, so sorry you find yourself here but glad you found us!
Focusing on all that great stuff is definitely a good idea and we're here for when the blues creep in.

MissH, sorry you had a disturbed night, make up for it with hot choc and sofa time today. I tried learning to knit last year and only managed a very wide, very short scarf so seriously impressed by the crochet talk!!

Fedup, I want to know more about this tiger costume of yours!

No DTD last night - too much booze consumed but going dry(ish) from today and have plans for DH's new sleep mask tonight...

Happy New Year everybody! I have a good feeling about 2014 :-)

I like your style miss and deus holding on to those positives. I'm so sorry for your recent losses and hope that 2014 brings some more positives your way.

My positive mantra to try to hold onto for 2014 is that each month it doesn't happen for us is another month for my body to prepare to make the best possible home for our little bean ask me in a few cycles time how that's going. It may not be easy to see it that way but I'm going to try.

Hi Helen and welcome. I still have to look acronyms up sometimes! The 'relationships' topic is mind bogglingly full of them!

Fedup, that sounds like an amazing idea! We went to an all you can eat Chinese thing last night and I was really wishing I'd worn elasticated trousers, or a smock!

DH does indeed have a sleep mask. He started wearing an old freeby one from those inflight packs cos I stay up reading and he likes darkness to sleep so I bought him a black silky frilly one as a joke Xmas pressie but he loves it! Quite a sight I tell you (he's 6'3 and quite big and hairy!). I can see some good double uses for it tho as part of plan SMEP!
