Let me know what you think.

I think I ovulated yesterday (cd24) not cd 19 as FF suggests. What do you think? I've tried tricking it by adding higher temperatures for the next 3/4 days, but it still doesn't budge.

Opinions please! Smile

FF looks right to me.

Did you wake up late on day 1,2,3,4? That could account for the higher temps. (It's better if you can temp around same time or the chart can be harder to interpret). Or, it could be that you did ov and are having a bit of a dip (pretty common in the luteal phase...sometimes an implantation dip but at 4dpo I would say too early). I think you need a couple of days more data to know for sure as I'm not 100% you've ovv'ed yet from this chart. you might have done just data not clear cut yet.

Looking at your chart though, you have a better chance of conception if you have sperm in the tubes ready to go so shagging 2 days and day before ov if poss, rather than on day of ov itself when it can be a bit late.

Your temps are a bit all over the place. Are you temping at the same time? Is your thermometer working ok?

I don't think you have ovulated yet (unless in the last 2 days), your temps are not consistently high, you were still getting ewcm and your opks were negative. You did not use opks in the last two days?

Thanks for the replies girls. I appreciate you looking at my my chart.

Yes - I got up an hour later on 1, 2, 3 and 4. I know this isn't ideal, but refuse to set a crazy early alarm on none work days. I always do this on weekends (this one just happened to be a long weekend). I seem to have moveable temps as they are always up and down, even on days where I get up at my "normal" time.

I know dtd on ov day isn't ideal. This wasn't on purpose, just the days I managed to convince DH to dtd! Smile

Think my thermometer is fine. As above, my temps vary a bit even when alarm is set at "normal" time.

I think Im not convinced about Ff ov date as its so much before CB OpK peak. But I guess this could happen.
Also I had really strong stomach ramps yesterday - so thought this got be ov.

Guess Ill just have to wait out another few days .......

Huge temp rise today. So think Ff will change my
Ov date soon to yesterday. (I did a sneaky peak by adding false data for tomorrow and it jumped).

Nice to know I know what my body is doing! Smile

Ah! Well that's a bit of reassurance for you. Into the 2ww. Fingers x for you. I hate temping! It forces your first waking thought to be about making babies and sometimes it would be nice to think about something else!!

ahh...I don't mind temping. I do mine at 5am, so I like that I don't need to be that conscious! Smile I don't like to speak to anyone within 2-3hours of waking if at all possible Grin

OPKs on the other hand annoy the hell out of me. I have to properly wake myself up, find my watch and my glasses, then hang around for 5-10minutes for the result! Super annoying!

Just checking back. Looks like you can prob disregard the previous high temps as just a result of temping too early, then you prob ovv'ed cd 25 or 26. Let's hope you've been lucky!

On your comment re: OPK's though, I think you are meant to test mid-afternoon as the LH starts to be produced in am and doesn't show until the afternoon. I always used to test in the loos at work

Yep it looks like ov took place on day 24! Even with your temps varying naturally, you can still clearly identify the temp rise. So I wouldn't rely on ff that much, but use all other signs your body gives too, to determine yourself when ov took place. Perhaps you can change the setting too, I think there's an advanced setting that does not just take temps into account but also opks.

Ladygonegaga, it depends, if you're using clearblue advanced opks, you need to use fmu with them

Thanks for the comments girls.

My normal temp time is 5am, the white circle temps are the "late" ones.

Temps on cd20-23 are above my crosshairs on prior months. This does usually sit around 35.8/9. And post ov normally sits 36.1-2.

Yes - I use CB opks which need FMU.

Im using the advanced setting. I seem to always get a one or two day temp dip after ov, but this is usually dpo7 ish, rather than dpo 5.

The more I look at it, the more I think ff is actually right (2 days ago I was convinced ff was wrong!)

Im fed up with looking at my chart! Smile Fingers crossed....I won't have to keep charting much longer.

Did you get a peak on your opks?

I think it's still odd how the opk would miss your peak.

btw, you can have ff ignore one or more temps, just click on discard where you enter the temp, and then it will adjust the cross hairs. If you wanted to.

Also, temps can get irregular if you wake up during the night. I think you need 3 hours of interrupted sleep or something. That might be a factor?

jaykay987 · 13/10/2013 21:17

Nope - no waking in the night.

Im not surprised about the OPK, I was only testing once a day, in the morning, which I know isn't the best time for opks. So Im focussing more on temps and CB OPK.

I just need more patience to wait it out!
