Why do I keep getting the feeling that EVERYONE I know is looking at my stomach??!!!!!

All our friends and aquaintances are all so desperate for dh and I to get pg again that I am beginning to get really paranoid!!

In my younger days I used to complain that men in pubs used to talk to my chest - now everyone's just eye-ing up my stomach!!!
It doesn't do much for your self-esteem especially as I still have a porky stomach from ds last year!!

I think I am just going to have to wear some kind of tent tops instead of t-shirts....

.....but then they may think it's to grow into....??!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgh.

I know what the anwer is....eat less and do some stomach exercises...but can I be bothered?
It doesn't appear so!!

We probably are a bit paranoid though - I suspect everyone you know isn't actually desperate for you to be preg?!
I also look at other women's bellies, to see how mine compares. Not nice, but I still do it

Sorry - HAD to watch BBrother!!!

My ds was stillborn at 40 weeks last June so people have been VERY polite by not asking if we were trying again.

Now my ds's first birthday had been and gone, people are watching my stomach with interest!! Especially as my friend (who I was pg with at the same time) is also now expecting her second.

And I guess that's why I feel that they're looking - cos they don't like to actually ask!!

Thanks Beansprout - I am sure that it'll happen again...but these things take SO long in our experience!!

It doesn't help when other people are all eagle-eyed y'know!!!

I feel the same Coggy as I stupidly told everyone we would like 2 close together. Now I feel I should drop into convo that I've been drinking/intend to drink and order srtong cofee when out even though I'd prefer decaf! Also scared any tunic type tops would be misconstrued as maternity. All this while desperatly pretending NOT to be ttc at the mo as I somehow feel like a failure for not getting pregnant at the drop of a hat...totally ridiculous and I make myself so mad for feeling this way!
