Hi Alexh

I came off the pill last July, i had my first proper period after 35 days and from the on, they were 48, 47, 46, 50, 70, 56 and now i have gone back to 35.

Am currently on the waiting list at the ferility clinic as i am not ovualting, but as the last one was 35 days i think it might just have been the pill coming out of my system and has taken ages to do so.

Try charting for the next couple of cycles to see if you ovulate. I recommend a book called 'taking charge of your fertility' if you are serious about getting pregnant ASAP if not just wait and see what happens with you periods they might sort themselves out in a few months.

I went through loads of tests in the first six months of coming off the pill, so can sympathise will you on BFN.

Hope this helps and i have not rambled too much.

I came off the pill at the beginning of February this year and had a similar thing. My cycle has gone to 32 days I think it's just me getting older though (34 now). I thought I was 4 days late, convinced I was pg and devastated when got a bfn so I can sympathise.

I am actually going to start cycle monitoring as soon as the bloody period actually arrives as am old and with history of PCOS and was not ovulating when went back on the pill (after birth of DS now 1) so gynae thinks no point in hanging around.

I missed a period when I came off the pill and got one exactly 28 days after it was due (then conceived that monthSmile).

Good luck!
