Aw really!
Well, I'm only on month one, DTD Monday night after only 2days of finishing AF, so that's wishful thinking on my part haha, but that's just me, I'm super impatient!
Fell pregnant first time within a few days of trying so I just keep thinking its going to happen again! X

Fingers crossed for you! I?m hoping I?m coming to the end of AF now as not so heavy, but your body does strange things! WOW that was quick! I fell pregnant after 3 months with my DS 3 years ago,so would be great if it could be about the same again. x

Aw, so not long to wait till you start ovulation then! Fingers crossed for you too!
Although all I see to hear is that it's harder to conceive 2nd time round, I'm hoping not! X

Hi girls! I just posted similar thread few days ago, good to have new people around. Kt1991, hope you'll be as lucky as with your DS :) I know coming off the pill messes up your body, but it'll regulate on its own as well, so no worries!

I remember when I came off the pill the first time my cycle was all over the place, from the 14th to the 26th of the month it would start!

Does having a baby mess up your cycle too? Because I haven't gone back on the pill since having my DD 8months ago and there still all over the place! That's why I think it's going to be harder to conceive this time x

It may change your cycle, plenty of women say that their cycles are different after having a baby. But id doesn't mean that it'll be harder to conceive :) Just try to detect your O, and BD often:)

Kt1991, started not that long ago, though already experienced some dreadful and stressful moments. Now I'm trying to take it easy.

Hi all!

I'm new to mumsnet and TTC baby #1. Came off contraception on August 1st. Eek! I am super impatient and excited but not seen AF since contraception stopped so haven't started charting or using OPK yet. Done lots and lots of reading up on it all though!!

I've had my coil removed today to start TTC number 2! Excited to be sharing this journey with you ladies!

Does anyone have any tips on using ovulation tests etc? DS was a surprise baby so I've never actively tried before and don't know where to start!!

Hi fellow newbies!

I have posted on other threads but will join here too!

I am 32 and DH is 31, we are TTC #1 first cycle, am worried about my age, but we'll see what happens.

Was on the pill for 12years, had normal withdrawal bleed and started trying straight away

How old are you all if you don't mind me asking?

Hi, I'm also fresh off the pill and I'm 28.

I?m 22, but as I wrote in a post further up I have PCOS so unsure whats going to happen! I?ve brought a packet of cheap early pregnancy tests from amazon which i?ll use every month if I don?t get a period every month (hoping I won?t have anymore though!) Good luck to everyone!

Kt - have you thought of using opks to see if you're ovulating?

Report
Kt1991 · 21/08/2013 20:46

Someone on another post reckons that they don?t work if you have PCOS though VJONES? Is it normally 14 days after AF that you ovulate? If so, will see what happens then!

Ah right, good point. The average number of days is 14 but I ov this month on cd19 so it depends really. The average cycle is 26-34 days apparently.
