We swear! We have to start a new thread every week! But we are the most gorgeous bunch of ladies ever grin and will do anything to get a baybee in our tumtum.

Get nattering.....

That's great Nobeer! I bet you can't wait now! How many are you allowed to put back in?

Twinks I was told no ibuprofen as I was going straight to ET. I had my EC last Wednesday too and was pretty much sore till ET on Monday. I was told to expect pain and bloating, but I drink loads. And if my urine was cloudy to call straight away.

Yay to AF starting nobeer, hopefully to long 'til you can do the FET.

twinks hope you can get some pain relief and have a comfortable night.

chocolocodowninacapulco Fri 12-Jul-13 22:01:24

How are you feeling nomaybe? Managing to survive the dreaded 2ww?

nobeer Fri 12-Jul-13 22:01:42

Maybe non alcoholic shandies are perfect in this weather!

For tea I had tuna, roast pepper and rocket salad.

nobeer Fri 12-Jul-13 22:03:37

Maybe 3 at our clinic but we've requested a maximum of 2. So we'll see how the embies do after defrosting. Is it daft to worry about/feel sorry for my frozen embies?

Hello,

Sorry- just a quickie tonight. Have had an eventful day sad Im ok and all mine are ok but my best friend has been very poorly and today was a bad day. Infertility just pales in the face of the battles some people face sad

We had plans for quorn chilli and roasted sweet potatoes. But ended up with fish, chips and mushy peas blush sorry for the let down!!

Very quickly...

twink congrats!! 24 is ace. I will await fert numbers eagerly smile x

xxx tame. Sorry you've had a bad day with your friend being ill. I'm cream crackered and off to bed to give my follicles some beauty sleep smile

Brooker, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Tortie, I'm sorry about your friend and you're right about others' pain putting things into perspective. I was about to have a little sob in hozzie whilst waiting for my scan but then it suddenly struck me that I was in a hospital where there were gravely ill people and heartbroken rellies. I swatted myself hard in the temple with a 1984 Woman's Weeky

Motor, I am 6+1 today with another scan booked for two weeks today (another freebie!) Would you like to see the scan picture? Hover over my name and go to the gallery smile

I am so jealous impressed with the hauls of caviar coming from you ladies and, Resipsa, your AMH made me envy I am overjoyed to be preggo with the gift of a donor but I would be so proud to be you lot cooking your very own babies smile

Hello to flowers, cupcakes, nooknook, nokkie, fish, nobeer, twinkle, fabuluce, expat, mejust, lizzie and any lurkers who are a bit shy x

Oh, that's great news about your scan, Tortie. Yes, thank you, the brown sludge disappeared as soon as I had the scan hmm

P.s..you haven't 'failed' because your friend has been in your heart x

[waves nanight to choco]

No beer - they have told me to come in for a scan to assess if its ok to do transfer this cycle. Fx it will be. I've had no symptoms of OHSS - pain earlier was the pain killer wearing off.

Sorry today has been hard Tame. I wish your friend better.

I'm still so pleased for you Juicy

Hope your dinner was nice Cups

Nobeer I don't think it's weird thinking about yor embies! They're are a part of you! Two is a good number!

I'm on thanks Choco. Had a bit of a down day today. Had a blob of pink this morning but nothing since. Have just been feeling very bloated and feeling like this won't have worked. I'm sure tomorrow will be better though smile

tametortie Fri 12-Jul-13 22:55:05

Thanks all. I feel like you guys are always having to offer me sympathies!! blush I have had a rough couple of months but unfortunately, a couple of friends are having it rougher. Health is such a bizzare thing. When you have it, you dont even notice. But when its gone, your world caves in.

Bad times.

She will be ok though- fab family, fab partner and fab friends grin

Joos massive fail today- went out with a dress on and hairy legs cos "I dont care anymore"!! And then ate chips for dinner??!! Grim!! grin

Darling maybe, I forgot you in my mentions! I'm sorry you're melancholy, there is strange feeling of anti-climax for many women post-transfer. Let it wash over you because it will pass. How many days past ET are you?

I hear you on the hirsuteness, Torts. I contemplated shaving my vadge in the shower but couldn't see through the tears without my contacts in so I left the Brian Blessed beard intact. Nurse needed a machete to hack out a trail for the dildocam hmm

MotorcycleMama Fri 12-Jul-13 23:02:59

What a beautiful peanut juicy! I bet you can't stop looking at it. Have you celebrated? How do you feel? I'm 4+4 and have first scan at 7+3. My clinic refuse to do it any earlier as they say you can't guarantee seeing a heartbeat any earlier than 7. I am happy that they are being sensible, but wish it wasn't such a long wait. At least today I feel confident that I am indeed pregnant.

Thanks, lovely Motor, you are right...I can't stop looking at this little miracle. I'm not going to mention it any more as it's not appropriate on here, but just to say it was only the blood & sludge which made the wait for the scan unbearable. Yours will arrive in no time smile

We are celebrating with my groovy nieces (18 & 14) who are staying with us this weekend. I was literally retching all through cooking my famously-scrumptious cottage pie. What should take half-an-hour to prepare took twice as long as I had to keep running to the back garden for some air smile

Twinks, nowt wrong with crisp butties; we're currently sat, in a row on the sofa, watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre whilst sucking on liquid-filled sour jawbreaker lollies the size of a baby's head.

Juicy your peanut is looking fab! I hope you enjoyed your cottage pie and that the eating day better with your stomach than the cooking of it!

ET was on Monday, so 5dp5dt. I feel sick and tired today but I'm thinking it's just the progesterone.

twinklestar2 Sat 13-Jul-13 09:34:03

Nomaybe - blob of pink and feeling sick are all good signs!

Had the call from the clinic: 21 eggs were injected; 18 fertilised. They are going to monitor them again on Monday and try and take them to weds (5 day transfer).

tametortie Sat 13-Jul-13 09:38:26

nomaybe they sound like excellent signs!! X

tametortie Sat 13-Jul-13 09:40:21

twink I DREAM of 18 fertilised eggs! What an incredible result envy well done you!!! Xxxx

That is fantastic Twinks well done you smile

Thanks Tame. Feel a bit crampy today though. Think I'm just being hypersensitive to everything x

Flipping 'eck, Maybe, thoseare indeed good signs. FWIW I don't believe progesterone makes you feel sick wink

Twinks, you bloody star! You feeling cautiously chuffed?

Brooker, thinking of you at your scan.

What's everyone doing today?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Sat 13-Jul-13 09:58:23

Twinks 18 shock amazing!

Maybe it's all sounding very promising. I'm so excited for you.

Oooh, Maybe, I have checked back and my nausea began at 4dp5dt smile

NoCupcakesOrCocktails Sat 13-Jul-13 09:59:27

I'm working sad I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everyone stays at home so I can just sit on my bum all day.
