Could i be pregnant/done any harm - really worried.

Hello, We are TTC with our second - we have a lovely 2 two year daughter following a previous stillborn son - so I am paranoid around pregnancy. I also had an early miscarriage a few months ago. I am currently travelling with work and my period was due yesterday. I got cramps and had light (but red) bleeding yesterday but the bleeding has today calmed down. I am worried as I was convinced yesterday my period began and went to a work function last night and had 4 drinks and over the past week a few units (I have been trying to avoid but its difficult). I would be 4 weeks pregnant (if I am). I am really worried I could have done some harm.

I gave no idea if you could be pregnant but if you are it's only 2 weeks since conception so there is no placenta yet or shared blood supply (the egg is nourished by the yolk sack at this stage) so alcohol in your blood could not get to the developing egg.

Thank you so much, that has made me feel much better. I think being away from home (I am in Asia) has just heightened my worrying x
