OMG Juicy/*Viv*/*Gail*/*Mike*. That's amazing news! Soooo happy for you! You can join the grads now. All the very best for your pregnancy - let us know how you get on! grin
PS - you've resurrected an old thread here. This one hasn't been used for a few weeks - confused me no end!

JuicySausage Sun 30-Jun-13 21:25:29

Hiya slappers! It's me, Viv/GailPlattsChin etc etc. Do you mind if I share my amazing news? I'M PREGNANT!!

We flew to the Czech Republic for donor egg IVF and came home with two 5-day AA hatching blastocysts on board. Got my BFP eight days post-transfer and I have my blood test tomorrow and an early scan in a couple of weeks to check for twins. We are over-the-moon!

We are so grateful to our (anonymous) donor. She is 24 and an Economics graduate with brown hair and eyes like me and t'other half.

I'm going to be a mum! <faints>

Wishing you all the very, very best. I do miss y'all, you know...<sniff>

xxx

Gill thanks for the reassurance re my appointment tomorrow and sorry AF got you too sad .

Bunny I'm the same as boom I count the first sign of anything. I am sometimes ridiculously light all the way though so I could otherwise be recording 5 days of spotting, perhaps one day of nothing in the middle of it, and never AF, so I'd never start a new cycle!!

This cycle I am ignoring everything. I am not temping or pimping as I have no idea whether we'll be dtd again by shag week, the vit b6 appears to be having no effect all on my LP so that's still too short for anything to implant, and if I do get clomid tomorrow it'll be the evening of CD3 and probably too late to start taking it. So that's me out before I've started. How depressing.

Boom how was the hsg?

MrsB00Mbastic Tue 18-Jun-13 08:39:34

bunny I count first sign of pink/brown discharge as day 1 - to be fair she usually arrives pretty much straight away after that though.

Looking forward to our brand new shiny thread which will be full of BFPs although I'll probably miss the shuttle as usual

Bunnygirlie Tue 18-Jun-13 08:39:09

When this thread is full please form an orderly queue and board the shuttle quickly but calmly, please ensure you take all your belongings with you, the moving van is already loaded up with the SoP, CLoL and the fridge full of wine! Can somebody grab the RoR and the PoP!

See you on the other side

Hope all goes well today boom will be thinking about you!

TMI gross question - what do you count as CD1, I had red/brown goo yesterday and then a clotty thing but then nothing overnight but today the witch is here!!!

P.s. I am going to start the new thread ready for when this one is full x

MrsB00Mbastic Tue 18-Jun-13 08:00:12

Thunder,34, bfp due 15th July

BlindKitty Tue 18-Jun-13 06:11:51

gillster I'm confused! Haven't you got until mar 2014 to pop one out in your 30s?

Gillster Tue 18-Jun-13 05:42:11

Barking my ultrasound appointment letter specifically stated that it didn't matter where you were in your cycle so you'll be fine.

Gillster Tue 18-Jun-13 05:39:25

AF has turned up, just for a change! Should have known it was impossible to symptom spot by now. Well at least I have an appointment in 2 weeks to get the ball rolling again. Also DH said that friend in States is getting married on 28th December so at least I'll be able to go to that now. I'm looking for the silver linings but I'm having to look very hard! Given that my birthday is in March, I think this was the last chance to at least pop one out in my 30s. sad

Gillster, it's Wednesday. The FC clinic wanted the HSG and the dildocam done before I saw the consultant. I assume the results of both then dictate the next steps. They routinely book the dildocam immediately before the consultant appointment to avoid you having to come in on two separate occasions. There's plenty I've found through google about it not mattering when in the cycle they're done, and I've been given no information to call and cancel in the result of AF showing.

Barkingtreefrog - 34, cycle 20. Had HSG, next stop dildocam and FC appointment on 19th June.

Bunny - 33, cycle 14, hoping to be referred to FC this month,

Blindkitty - 33, cycle 24,tried clomid, had blood tests, had Hsg, dh had sa, waiting for iui to start aug/sept
Gillster - 39, cycle 15, AF due 19th/20th June. HSG has revealed an endometrial polyp. Have appointment with 2nd consultant on 2 July.

It's been a busy couple of days, I can hardly keep up! Think I am the last woman standing in terms of AF's arrival this week. Sorry she's shown up berries.

Was feeling a bit positive this morning as haven't had any pre-AF symptoms but think they may just be starting to creep in. I had smiley OPKs 13 and 14 days ago so puzzled that I haven't had pre-AF symptoms yet which was why I was quietly getting my hopes up. Who knows, I'll give it until Weds but think I'll know either way tomorrow.

Try not to worry about the Hycosy Boom. I took a couple of painkillers before and was gardening an hour afterwards!

AF tends to be around 6 days for me Thunder and I also thought it was fairly normal.

Why are you having dildocam tomorrow Barking? When I had my ultrasound last month they did a regular one first and then said they wanted to do the vaginal one. I mentioned that I was CD2 and the guy said he'd prefer to test a few days later as things could be seen more clearly at that point in the cycle so was rescanned on CD5. I think the sonographer maybe saw my endometrial polyp from the regular scan but wanted to confirm when my uterus wasn't so thick.

Enjoying the hols so far in Cornwall although weather being a bit rubbish. Looked very windswept and interesting yesterday after waiting for 6 hours at Land's End for DH and 500ish other cyclists to finish their 9 day ride from John O'Groats. Amazing what they've achieved, I am in awe.

IamKuma Mon 17-Jun-13 22:36:10

boom good luck...

Sorry for multiple posts, seem to have short attention span tonight.

bunny, we're on 961 posts, I think Gluckschmerz needs to make it into the next thread title grin

MrsB00Mbastic Mon 17-Jun-13 22:34:53

Ah barking you're not having the best of days are you? Flipping men, never manage to do their jobs properly!!

Aw thunder that's nice, although you've obviously never seen me crash ride a bike!

Right, off to beddybyes to have nightmares about speculums get my beauty sleep. Night y'all! xxx

IamKuma Mon 17-Jun-13 22:34:36

barking I am getting adverts for Pampers.... WTF! and California... smile

IamKuma Mon 17-Jun-13 22:32:51

boom great word, Gluckschmerz, Gluckschmerz, Gluckschmerz... I'm going to Germany this weekend, I'll see if I can use it wink... noch ein bier bitte, ja; Gluckschmerz.... hmm, my German linguistic skills are not that hot!

thunder AF is usually 4-5 but with spotting both sides.

BlindKitty Mon 17-Jun-13 22:28:57

Yes, it is a fab word! The elderberry gluckschmerzers!!!

thunder 5 to 6 days of AF here.

And thanks MN for advertising a maternity wear website with a big bump photo and the tagline 'style for your bump' at the side of a conception thread. Just lovely angry. I thought fb was bad enough giving me 'fertility treatment abroad' adverts, but I really don't need big f8cking bumps in my face when I come on here feeling really upset about still NOT having one. This is supposed to be my BUMP FREE SAFE PLACE angry.

Off to bed. Not happy as DP was supposed to be finally contributing to the California planning tonight. He found 3 campsites then went off to the pub saying he'd book them tomorrow. As there seems to be a silly registration process I said I'd book them as I was already registered with the same site - only he'd only got one specific campsite on the list, the other two he said were 'the ones in the lonely planet guide', only he'd got the 'long day walk' down as what the guidebook described as a '3 day strenuous hike' and the bit he particularly wanted to do was in the middle, so a campsite at one end or the other would not be any good, but I've spent an hour not finding a suitable one. Grrr. I should have left it and passed it back as soon as I realised he hadn't actually done the job properly, instead of wasting an hour when I've done the other 3 weeks of planning anyway, and these are the 3 nights that were his to sort out!!!!!

kitty you did say I was allowed to whinge... And I can't believe I missed long lost family while not booking the campsites that DP was supposed to be booking!!!

Boom I'm sure yours will be absolutely fine. As my mother said when I told her what happened 'Well you know what you're like with your allergies, it's just another to add to the list'. What??!? I get hayfever and I'm allergic to shellfish, it hardly makes me a freak?!
