We laugh in the face of OPKS and stomp on our thermometers! Don your customised shag capes, ladies; it's Just Shagging Thread 15

Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

DulcetMoans Sun 07-Jul-13 09:12:22

Oh quark, that does not sound like a sexy household! Hope you all get better soon.

Sounds like a tough decision for you lil. Families do make everything harder, as someone planning a wedding I can confirm that for sure! Just so ... Difficult!

Welcome fifi!! That's a new pissing tool but whatever works!!

AQuarkTooFar Sun 07-Jul-13 07:57:00

Morning viroids! The quark household is drowning in a sea of tissues! I have hayfever mixed with a cold and Dh has man flu! Bear have you passed your cold along! (Hope you are feeling better!)

Well done lil for helping your mum. Family stuff is very hard sometimes but you sound like you did the right thing!

We are 3 days from ERTD here and not getting symptoms either way, don't think I am up duffed though. Our dog is about to drop her first litter of pups though! Supper excited.

Dh's sister has announced her engagement and will probs be getting married in July. Exciting! We have decided that I don't want to be heavily prego at the wedding so we have two months to get up duffed! time to check out the SMEP

What's on this lovely Sunday for everyone?

Redshoes56 Sun 07-Jul-13 02:19:13

Good for you, fifi, I am hitting the wine rather hard tonight for the same reason!

choc - New Joisey, baby! grin It IS a really lovely state, honest.

Family stuff is hard, lil - good for you, that positive karma will come back to you.

fifi669 Sat 06-Jul-13 23:36:43

Thanks for your condolences on the ertd, me and the OH are having a weekend of beer and other pregnancy contraband as a pick me up smile

lil1ady Sat 06-Jul-13 23:27:43

Thanks choc my mum has really struggled to save for her holiday. it will be my younger brothers (aged 12 and 10) second holiday abroad and I just couldn't bare to see her give up her spending money on my waster older brother. I can afford to take the risk that he won't pay it back but she can't. And as much of an arse as he has been he's still my brother and I still love him, and I didn't want to see him go to prison either. Family is hard!

ChocChaffinch Sat 06-Jul-13 21:40:08

good lord lil
that was a good thing you did.
meeting bad past deeds head on with generosity and huge kindness thanks

lil1ady Sat 06-Jul-13 21:17:19

ugh what a day. went shopping with my mum to help her get outfits for her holiday and ended up giving her £400 to bail my brother out so he doesn't end up in prison. I have not spoken to this brother for 4 years since I rescued him from a paracetamol overdose and he later strangled me. can't tell dh about it as he'd go mental if he knew I'd given my mum the money for my bro so please forgive my little rant but I needed to get it off my chest somehow sad

hi to Fifi and sorry for ertd.

liking all the big boob signs...fx for everyone

coffeewineandchocolate Sat 06-Jul-13 21:13:35

fifi669 Sat 06-Jul-13 19:14:59

AF was indeed imminent, arriving this afternoon. OH is convinced he needs to go on some sperm super diet he found on the internet. He's an odd fish :-)

Redshoes56 Sat 06-Jul-13 18:13:50

Hi ladies! Not much to report here either. cookie, bear - it is HOT here in NJ! Hiding in the air conditioning for now, but planning on a dip in the in-law's pool a little later. I just bought a pair of new sneakers as I want to do the couch-to-5K program (this coming from a woman who only runs when in grave danger, not sure what's gotten into me), but it's far too gross outside to start now. Maybe tomorrow grin

Welcome, fifi - we pee in/on whatever we can get our hands on around here (although that makes us sound a bit like wild dogs....)!

cookielove Sat 06-Jul-13 16:50:39

Hello all, just got in from a picnic in the park, i am boiling!!!!!

Thank god i have air con in the car smile

Dh has control of the tv, i am banished to the lap top <humph>

Not much to report here!!

fifi669 Sat 06-Jul-13 13:49:19

Oh and I PITLOMAFS (Pee in the lid of my athletes foot spray) I know, I know, sexy eh?

fifi669 Sat 06-Jul-13 13:47:36

Hello there! Not really sure what all your lingo is, DH? DC? OPK? i'm obviously not down with the kids. I've got a 2 1/2year old, he's full on in terrible twos yet I'm looking to go again...

I had the implant out in April, got AF the same day, next cycle was 32 days long, last one was 28....now on day 29. I've had cramping, hip/back pain in the last week and did a cheeky early test Wednesday? so pretty sure AF is imminent.

I know I haven't been trying long but i'm pretty impatient and molesting my other half at every opportunity.... not that he's complaining!

Bearfacedchic Sat 06-Jul-13 12:29:16

Sounds good. Have fun Andie! It's certainly lovely weather for it.

Hope all uk shaggers are enjoying the weather . Hope the weather us nice for you too Red and Stroke who I think is abroad too.

AndieDisestablishment Sat 06-Jul-13 10:05:38

Awwwwww, congrats MrsBri, if you're still about to read this. Can't believe 9 months went so fast.

Bear Hope the boobs are a sign.

I'm off to London Film and Comic Con today. Hoping the proximity to Norman Reedus and Jason Momoa will spur my ovaries into action.lol
