Another 'could I be pregnant post'

Hi ladies,this is my first post. Have looked through this board for an answer but nothing that matches my situation so here goes...

I have been ttc since November last year, this month after nothing happening I started using clear blue fertility tests and got a smiley face on day 10 of my cycle, much earlier than I expected so probably where we had been going wrong up until then! Hubby and I had sex twice in the two days after the positive test and again on the 4th day. 7 days after the smiley face I had some spotting that lasted 4 days, 2 weeks before my period is due, never experienced spotting before now. It was heavier than what I would expect based on reading about implantation bleeding but no where near heavy enough to be a period, was using liners but not heavy enough for a pad or tampax. This was accompanied by bleeding gums for a few days and feeling like I was getting a cold for 1 day. I had some very mild cramps with the bleeding and now that's stopped still get the odd stabbing pain at my ovary (only got one as had a large cyst removed in 2011) but none of the obvious symptoms of pregnancy. I'm trying not to get massively excited as I feel I am setting myself up for a fall but my period is due in 4 days and I'm desperate for some answers about what's going on. Is it worth testing now?

Hello Another sounds like it may be good news for you!

My AF is 5 days overdue, negative test yesterday.. looks like its the waiting game for both of us.. I'm getting SO impatient!

Well just did a test and it was negative, not going to get too frustrated about it though since I used a normal first response test rather than an early response - it's what I had in the house and my local supermarket doesn't stock The early tests! Will try again over the weekend if my period doesn't show

Good luck its still early days for you, hope your AF doesn't arrive over the weekend

With my first pregnancy I didnt get a positive until 8 weeks, so you never know :)

Well my hubby says, no news is good news. So if we apply it here least having no period is a good sign, despite the tests!!
