Yet ANOTHER 2ww...anyone care to join me?

2 years into ttc, and here I am starting yet ANOTHER 2ww. Moral support would be lovely - I gave up on boob support years ago when they started heading south...oh the joys if being in your 40s!

Hopefully dtd enough, though targetted sex is nowhere near as fun as the other sex where there isn't a goal to be aimed for (we're both feeling the strain). And now we wait. Given that I had rampant pregnancy symptoms last month and then my period started bang on time, it's quite like that I'll misplace my marbles sometime in the next teo weeks.

Hi can i join you? i am due af/bfp on 5th feb so 2ww starts today. Don't think its my month but it's only my first cycle so not expecting it anyway if i am honest.

2 years is such a long time, you really deserve this month to be the one! FX for you

Af's due on the 9th of Feb for me, so I'm not quite at the 2WW, but I'll join you anyway.

If I don't get up-duffed this month I have to put it off till the end of the year, so fingers really really really crossed.

Hello Doctor can I join you? Without support my nipples like to look at the floor [bush] I have never - even in my youth - passed the pencil test either.

I've been ttc just over a year now (with 1 mc and 1 cp during that time) but it feels much longer as it took roughly 3 and a half years for my DP to agree to try for a second child.

I don't hold out much hope for this month as we barely DTD but I suppose it is technically possible if DP's sperm were long-lifers and fate decides to dish-out some sort of miracle this month..

Anyhow, if you'll have me, I'm in!

Shock I meant Blush not [bush]...

....but I suppose it is true really, they do sort of look in that direction!

I'm trying for my first...took a long time for DP to turn up. Prior to him, there wasn't a single person I would have wanted to have a child with. Really scared it's too late for my ancient old eggs, but I'm past the cut off for ivf now anyway, and we couldn't afford to go private, and to be honest, I don't want to put either of us through it. It's taken me 2 years to get him to change his mind on having a baby as it is...

Good luck DoctorWho! I know plenty of women much older than you who got pregnant. My own mother when she was 48. So there's hope. :)

Thanks...it's really hard to stay positive month after month, without getting a positive. And when, and indeed if, I do, then there's the whole raft of genetic stuff to worry about. Eeek! I'm off to continue painting the bathroom. Though I might have a cuppa first...

I'd like to join you please! I have a son already and we have been ttc for over a year but I have always had a totally duff cycle ( going more than 100 days between periods sometimes). I think I have sorted this out since October with agnus castus, last two cycles only 35 and 32 days apart! So this is the first month where I feel that we have a chance at predicting the right time. I am hoping that this is the start of our tww! I must have poas a hundred times over the last year- all bfns. Am expecting af around 6th Feb if my bod stays under control. Actually, scratch that- I am expecting BFP around 6th Feb, positive thinking and all that!
I wish good luck to you op and all others on this thread! Fingers crossed for us all!

Blimey Cracker! Your mum got pregnant at 48? Holy moly!

I'm very lucky with my cycles tears, for years I was 32 days, a few years ago I went down to 28 and have stayed there. Every month, I do an opk on cd13 and I have my lovely smiley face. I don't know why I waste the stick to be honest cos I'm one of those women that can feel ovulation. I only POAS to confirm what I already know. We've been dtd every other day, sometimes consecutive days for the six days up to and including ovulation, and I'm still not sodding well pregnant!

Off to cry in a corner for a bit...

Oh don't cry Doctor

I was kidding myself about not symptom spotting earlier so this thread caught my eye! I am on CD24 but my cycles are anything from 24 to 33 days so at the end of the 2/3ww.

I know I have raised my hopes too high this month as I had a HyCoSy on the 10th Jan and DTD as much as possible for a few days before I had to go away with work. I have definitely had more 'pains' this month but that's probably the blast that my tubes have had!

Looking forward to some serious POAS action ladies Wink

Hi. Can I sneak in and join?
Been trying 6 months. Had 2 mc in that time. So we don't really have a problem getting pg, I just can't seem to stay pg :(
So. 2dpo. I already sure I have cramps and other pg symptoms I know I get. Even though it Waaay too early. I think I have finally lost it.

BFP/af due 2nd feb.

I'll join in. TTC #2' cycle 14 and CD24. Cycles been playing silly buggers recently (used to be a regular 29 dayer, now fluctuating between 26 and 34 ( not as extreme as some, tears, but a bit of a change for me. DTD lots this month, so really hoping we get lucky this time. Took 16 months to get DD, so am accustomed to a longish haul, but it doesn't get any easier. :(

I really don't hold much hope out this month but it's not over till it's over, so i will imagine symptoms and drive myself mad in the meantime Wink

Oh I didn't say been ttc #1 since July 2010 and I think we're on cycle 20 but kind of loosing count Blush

We've got appointment with fertility consultant on 31st - to review our various test results - and I can't help but imagine getting a BFP before we have to go!

As much as I wish it were different for you Yorkshire it's nice to hear from someone who did get a DC after a long time trying Thanks

Impatient I got my BFP with DD the night before we were due at the docs for our referral appointment for fertility treatment! You never know...

We are just starting a round of tests now for secondary infertility (am almost 37, so no time to hang about now). I'm hoping this will have a similar effect! Grin

Crikey...look at us all Smile. Really nice to know I won't be going batshit crazy all on my own. AF due on 5th February.

Haha tears I may have lovely regular cycles, but I'm still not up zee duff! All this and a toy boy 14 years younger than me. That's why I had to wait so long for him...he was growing up LOL! That sounds very wrong actually...he's 31, so it's not as bad as it sounds Grin.

Just recently moved house, so once settled at new docs, I think I may bookmin for some tests. However, I ordered a fertility test off t'internet which is apparently very reliable and that came back as negative for fertility issues. So WTF? Much as I don't really want to put my fertility under the scrutiny of the nhs, it would be nice to be sure that my lh surges do actually lead to ovulation, or whether we're literally shagging ourselves to death for no reason...
