Agree with Euro, don't get too involved until you've been trying for a good 6 months or so - that way madness lies!
There is nothing concrete you can do to guarantee pregnancy, if it was that easy we'd all get pregnant first go! Just aim to have sex 2-3 times a week throughout your cycle and hopefully that will be sufficient.
Don't set too much store by your app. I relied on mine but when I charted and monitored my fertile signs I realised I ovulated quite early on in my cycle. Try to dtd three times a week, every week to maximise your chances. Don't worry too much about the swimmers - the good ones get propelled up. The duffers are the ones that fall out. If you're using lubricant, mark sure it's a sperm friendly one like pre-seed or conceive plus. My top tip would be to remember, statistics suggest 80% of couples conceive within one year, 90% within 18 months. I wouldn't bother with OPKs or charting initially. As euro and frank. say, generally, having sex is enough!
