should i take a test? not ttc but weird period...

I'm not ttc but I've had a really weird, very very light and dark period at my normal time.... not sure if this is an implantation bleed?
Thing is I'm not even sure if its possible to be preggers as I've been ill and dh hasn't been that close and we may have dtd once but used protection....
Does this sound like implantation bleed?
