Hi the news is I think we have been accepted for IVF. I received a letter this morning from my pct saying my referral (it doesn't say what the referral was for) has been processed and i need to make an appointment at the infertility clinic at St Mary's in Manchester. That is all the information I have so I'm being cautiously optimistic. BUT there is no other reason for them to see us as it is not my local hospital & I would only expect to go there for IVF. I'm trying not to get too excited.

Thanks Smile I'm brooking no argument that it is a referral for IVF. Anyway I won't need it as I'll be getting my ironic BFP before my appointment Wink

How are you doing today Solars?

This place looks very cosy Shriek

Cups that definitely sounds like your ivf referral! Hoping it sparks into action the ironic BFP! [hwink] I'm surprisinglydoing ok thanks, just want AF to hurry up and arrive so it officially marks the end of this cycle. I'm looking forward to just kicking back and relaxing over the next few months as we decide our next steps.

Sorry about bfn too Beedle hope you're ok and enjoying parents being over.

Sweetie we have a week off next week, which I'm really looking forward to! Glad that AF has arrived for you. Is your appointment at the clinic imminent? How are you feeling about everything now?

Got to dash, but will be back soon...

My birthday will happen in this thread so I've decided that a whole raft of BFPs is what I want as a present

Report
Biscuitsandtea · 28/10/2012 11:09

Mine too and I'd like the same. But no scrimping - I want my own bundle of BFPs. I'm not sharing with Jen [hgrin]

morning all! hope you've enjoyed your extra hour in bed over the weekend. geek, glad you're still thread-starting despite supposedly being a lurker. We miss you! I'm going to pass on the hot chocolate today, though, as yesterday was 37 degrees!

Thanks sparks, unfortunately I do get sore boobies some months, so am not partic hopeful. Just looking forward to starting treatment in a month or so really! I'm brooking no argument that IUI will be the answer for us.

solars, will you get any more chances on the NHS?

sweetie hope you're ok too, and looking forward to your appointment, which i think is this week.

Am having lots of fun, though do get nervous when i'm at work and mummykeep is going round the city on her own. She seems fine though.

beedle what news your end af-wise? how long are your parents with you, and are you taking time off work? You've been having lots of blood tests, haven't you? Have they shown ov to be ok? Has mrb JIAnotherP yet?

sore boos=diffed
not sore boobs=diffed
AF=diffed
no AF=diffed
two lines = diffed
one line=diffed

just FIND THE RIGHT PEE STICK! And BROOK NO ARGUMENT!!

hmmm, it's a little too hot... Don't worry, sparks, by the time winter's there good and proper you'll be pregnant enough to be warm all the time!

Report
Solars · 29/10/2012 08:41

I was having night sweats last night so I definitely woke up to 37 degrees until I stepped out of bed :( Brrrr!

Keep we only got the one shot of NHS ivf, we now have to fund ourselves! Sounds like mummyKeep is keeping you busy & distracted! When are you confirming the obvious?

I've been having horrendous cramps since last night and AF arrived in full force this morning so I am feeling happy to move on although this feels like the mother of all AF's

Keep I told my mum yesterday, and then explained that I was going through a bit of a hot flush/cold chill phase, there was a suggestion that maybe it wasnt pregnancy it was in fact menopause Hmm

Solars I'm glad AF has kept you waiting round for too long. When will you decide what to do next?
