Those of you ladies on EPO, how do you know when to stop taking it? Do you just wait for a +ve opk or is that a bit risky? Thinking I might give it a go next month along with the conceive plus.

thingy - i'm right with you about kids being a natural contraceptive!! What with the 6am wake up calls or random middle of the night waking with sore ears and wet nappies, the toys strewn all round your bedroom, the crumbs they drop in your bed, getting into bed with you during the night, never mind the episiotomy scar that still hurts a bit..etc etc. Quite amazed we managed 5 days in a row this cycle!!

U used to take 1000mg of epo from cd1 until day of smiley. I don't know what it did for my cm but my cycles went back to normal after mc. I heard its good for that as well. I took it for 3 months and got pg on third.

kitten I OV between cd14-16 so I take 2000mg epo from cd1-cd12 and yes keeping an eye on the OPKs.

How much AC did you take and on what days littlemiss? I'll check it out for next cycle if this doesn't work.

You know kitten, that's a very good idea. From now on I'm going to think pregnant and act pregnant!!

I like that idea kitten. I try not to think about being pregnant because of the fear of disappointment but more positivity is definitely needed.
Yes little, I know it's so difficult trying to find any time for sex let alone lots of it in one specified time frame. My two are older (12 and 9) which brings even more problems because they aren't asleep until 9pm and I'm exhausted by then.
red I think you could be right about the dosage. I simply followed the bottle instructions but I doubt anyone needs that much. I'll reduce it to 1000mg.

Question for all of you who have had bfps - did you give/receive oral sex that month? sorry but I just don't know whether the saliva killing sperm thing is a myth or true?

We've not had any giving or receiving for months now and we both miss it!

Erm no oral sex over here. However DH is not a big fan anyway annoying I know so it's not that frequent for us.

red re my dh always gives me oral sex and if the chem pregs are anything to go by it doesn't seem to affect his swimmers (I always do the same for him).

red I'm not a massive fan of receiving oral weirdo so not much of that goes in round here anyway. Still give though, it's a surefire way to get DH in the mood if he's not feeling it...I'm sure we'd have less sex if I didn't so its swings and roundabouts I reckon!

I don't care if it does kill off some sperm, I'm definitely not giving up on giving or receiving oral. That's 90% of the fun. I can't see how it could do that much damage really.

We don't do oral while ttc as I've heard it kills sperm

Yeah we avoided the oral tonight. Precautionary measures. Just incase there's some merit in the saliva theories we didn't want to take chances especially as we are doing so much to help the swimmers.

red - apparently AC tincture is more potent but i've just been taking the capsules this time rpund, holland and barrett own brand. It says you can take up to 2 capsules twice a day but i just take 1 on.the morning and seems to have done the trick for me. Re: oral, only do that about one time in 3 when.not ttc but not at all when ttc. Enzymes in saliva for digesting food get to work on your DH's swimmers (sorry, ick but true!) and obv you want them swimming in peak.condition and not err partially digested lol
