Worrying I might be pg. Three kids already. Youngest 8 months.

dh and I left having kids til our mid thirties. We wanted three kids close together. We were lucky to have our wishes granted.

Two weeks ago we slept together and, I suppose, took a tiny risk. I am breast feeding my youngest, haven't had a period. We were 'messing around' and put a condom on after 2 minutes - so I suppose the first two minutes were unprotected. 5 days later I felt ovulation pains. I have been experiencing cramping since then. Looks like, in retrospect the timing of our stupid messing around was rather close to my first ovulation since baby. I am freaking out that I might be pg. (my oldest is 4, youngest 8 months). Tell me the chances are remote. I feel very silly. I have been feeling sick for 3 days too. Anyone else got pg under similar circumstances? I can't take the pill, we both hate condoms and we were talking about dh having a vesectomy as our family is complete. I think I might be panicking a bit.

all you can do is test then. Wait a few days and then do it.

....but the chances are fairly slim, aren't they? I could not cope with four kids, three pre-school age.......I have just got my figure back........I have had three c-sections already....

The chances are slimmer than they would be as you are b/f...and 5 days before ov is slim, and if he didn't ejaculate that narrows the chances (but doesn't eliminate them)....all in all you would be unlucky to be pg, but it isn't impossible - so test in a few days? Maybe the sickiness and cramping are because you are pre-menstrual for the fisrt time in ages.

yes... I suppose I could be pre-menstrual. I have forgotten what it is like. I have had about 8 periods since 2001 as I have either been pg or breastfeeding!!!

Hi. I am new to this site. I'm kinda thinking same thing, but my youngest is only 3 months old. I'm not exactly confident mini pill will work! But I am still breastfeeding. Also. any one here from NZ?
