Good to see you Shriek smile and your welcome. X

Shrieklette Fri 26-Oct-12 20:07:20

<sidles in wearing see-through cobweb disguise, inspired by scarlett's yukka>

solars lovely I am so sorry this wasn't the cycle for you. It sounds like you are fully geared up for another round though, so brooking that the next one is all you need.

cup so pleased to see you relaxed and having fun, you know what that guarantees don't you!

maybe brooking for your counselling, I hope it will all come to naught as I am sure your CF results will be negative.

boo my hangover miraculously cured itself by 5pm, just in time for me to hit the local wetherspoons to celebrate the start of a week's holiday grin ps thank you for the parcel, I had a note to say they tried to deliver so MrG will go collect it tomorrow for me xx

<hugs to keep, tock, wo manly shoulder punch to gen and all round brooking to everyone else. Have just realised I have posted more since saying I was taking a break than I have in the week leading up to realising I needed to take one>

TrickorTreatSweetie Fri 26-Oct-12 18:49:47

<gratefully accepts a Mojito - would be rude not to>

Maybe hope you are feeling ok about things, you are so strong but is it helping to have answers? When will you get your cf results?

Scarlett lovely to see you even though very well disguised

tock we love a wedding over this side of the fence, where is face and her plans must be nearly finalised by now. Come on ladies share the details, all very exciting.

Cup I have made a start on the Christmas pressie shopping too, plus it is DH 40th on 12th Nov. I need to spread the costs this year too

Solars glad MrSolars took some time off to join you this afternoon. Hope you get some quality time this weekend, did you also have a trip booked too?

Well AF has arrived with full force this afternoon, she took me by surprise as no spotting or anything. Am feeling pretty bleugh now and could really do to snuggle up on sofa in pjs with a hot water bottle, but I have to go collect DH from a work night out in a town about 20 miles away. At least she has arrived, even though it is a week late.

Virgin mojito for me pleeeeasssseee

<pours Beedle a Mojito anyway>

BeedleTheBard Fri 26-Oct-12 16:51:47

Don't be feeling sorry for me maybe I haven't been working today or anything, its just been travelling and sightseeing with my parents. It was a lovely day, I'm just tired that's all grin and I should be getting ready for dinner

And Solars MrSolars is too sweet.

Scarlett you have no idea how much you make me chuckle grin you do realise you're on for an ironic BFP don't you?!

Beedle sorry you've had a long day. I prescribe a hot bath and a Mojito. There's plenty to go round. I hope that after the genetics stuff we can start ASAP. From what I can see, there s no waiting list at our clinic, ut I'm not sure about waiting lists for MrMaybe's side of things

BeedleTheBard Fri 26-Oct-12 16:21:24

solars so sorry about the BFN, I hope you and MrS can spend the weekend together just the two of you ((hugs))

Oh and I did test and it we did have a double whammy of BFN, but at least I can kid myself that its too early.

maybe good news for the quick appointment, do you think you will start IVF as soon as you've had your genetic tests?

I've had a very long day so I'll just wave to everyone and the plant and catch up properly tomorrow

ScarlettInSpace Fri 26-Oct-12 16:09:35

*mentally. Of course from a metallic point of view a new job may be a good thing too but I meant mentally.

<settles in to get pissed with solars as clearly that's all Im good for hmm >

ScarlettInSpace Fri 26-Oct-12 16:06:04

blush @ bolding my own name, that's a bit like liking your own facebook status...

ScarlettInSpace Fri 26-Oct-12 16:04:28

OMG ITS PAYDAY??!! I TOTALLY missed it was payday today!

Wooooohooooooooooooo grin

I'm ok thanks for asking Cup I'm a bit meh about ttc myself, I've moved the IVF review appt back to January and I've started looking for another job, I'm done with TTC this year now, and if I get a new job I will have to actively not-TTC while in 3 months notice which I think will be a good thing for me metally, I feel like I've wasted most of this year on what-ifs and maybe's [not maybes though you are never a waste of time x] so any TTCing is fairly incidental now iykwim.

My body has not noted this however and provided me with 3 days of EWCM this week so I guess I must be somewhere around CD14 today?? Meh again.

Big love all round, no offence me lovelies but being an occasional pot plant around here for the time being is definitely helping with the meh-ness and OH has commented how we are having fun again after the last few months of not-much-fun in the scarlett household.

Solars Fri 26-Oct-12 15:59:22

Not at all Cups, dear, before going into this we were told we had a 30% chance so we've always thought we'd have to have 3-4 goes at it. Hopefully as you say they can tailor it to suit me based on the first round, I was a little disappointed when they only got 3 eggs when there were a lot more follicles there that didn't quite grow so perhaps they can stimulate with a higher dose the next time?? We'll have to see what they say though. Brooking for your ironic BFP too!

Tock congrats on the wedding, how exiting, I love a good wedding! Do we get a sneak preview of all things wedding related? They've said that if AF hasn't arrived in a weeks time then I have to call them so perhaps they may suggest hormone tests then I guess? I think its a long shot though DH cancelled a meeting at lunch to come home to be with me, however he's had to go back as he's got a late clinic tonight, boo!

<grabs a green straw and joins Scarlett behind the yukka for a mojito> hope you're ok x

Tock I think Mojitos sound great for your wedding. I love cocktails (hence the name) especially Strawberry Mojitos. In fact you inspired me to get some stuff in for Mojitos for tomorrow night. Hope I can wait until then!

Speaking of weddings, where is Face? Hope your just enjoying all the run up to the big day.

Scarlett unfortunately your camouflage didn't work as well as you had hoped! How are you?

Im feeling a bit better today. Have been out shopping all day as its pay day. I've started my Xmas shopping as I'll only have one more pay before Xmas. Got some nice presents for my DH.
I can confidently say I don't even know what cd it is for me. I can't remember the last time I took my vitamins. I am officially off the ttc wagon & it feels great grin
would still totally love an ironic BFP though

ScarlettInSpace Fri 26-Oct-12 15:01:13

<digs out yukka plant disguise and sidles in to give solars a big leafy hug>
<wonders if anyone will notice a plant drinking mojitos>
<decides a green straw will solve that problem>

biscuit

Tock you set a date!!!! How exciting! Mojitos for 50? No problem <hic>

Solars you are amazing. Strong doesn't describe you.

Cups how are you?

clickingtock Fri 26-Oct-12 13:45:26

Solars - you are so brilliant; you've got the right attitude and I hope the review is helpful. I really hope that actually the test was a bit too early... If not, will they do any tests during the review to see hormone levels etc? Your poor DH, we are all thinking of you both.

Keep - brooking for more of the right pant snot!

Maybe - v excited for you. Now hands off those mojitos, you've gotta look after yourself now your BFP is in the wings.

I think we need to consider mojitos for our wedding, which is in exactly one year's time (by which point I'm hoping to have dropped the pg blubber). Probably a bit tricky to organise mojitos for 50 eh?

I've just re read my post. I hope I didn't sound patronising Solars. Im sure you won't need another few cycles as we are all brooking no argument for a BFP ASAP on your behalf.

Keep I completely missed your post too. Its great that you've heard from DH. Creamy CM is most definitely a symptom, have you ever been on www.twoweekwait.com? I wouldn't recommend it as it makes you mental. Creamy CM gets frequent mentions on there!

Solars not long until your review, hopefully they can now tailor your next IVF to better suit you. I've read that you have to see IVF as a 3 cycle process as that is the average cycles needed for success.

Maybe well done on getting such a quick appointment smile

Anyone seen Scarlett lately? Hope your ok.

Lovely to see all the PSEPP and graduates

Solars Fri 26-Oct-12 13:02:57

Thanks Maybe and that is great news about your appointment, you'll be on your way in no time now with getting that baby of yours x

Sweetie I'm hoping AF arrives soon for you x

Shriek how's the hangover?

Thank you all thanks I'm feeling a little better now and surprisingly a bit stronger than I thought I would be. I hope DH is ok, I think he took it worse than me although he thought like you Gen & Sparkes that it may still be early. I've spoken to the clinic too and they've already booked me in for my cycle review on 14th nov, they actually gave me a date next week but DH wouldn't have been able to make it. They asked if AF had arrived and said it probably would be here in the next couple of days now that I have stopped taking the pessaries.
