<staggers on board with bottle of gin>
<waves at Count>
<finds comfy looking window seat and settles in>

Well done Count on our nice new shiny plane!! I have fashioned some new CM/CP guides <passes to count> which now come with a free fertility chart!!
No excuses this time!! Complimentary thermometers and OPKs are in the usual places!!

I'm not even going to fasten my seat belt!! Plan to be off this flight very soon grin

DeeLite Mon 02-Jan-12 09:05:01

Oops, just posted this on the old thread so pasting in here now.

Happy New Year everyone. I've been away for a while spending time with family over Christmas and NYE so haven't been on here for ages. Delighted to see Rusulka's good news - congratulations. That's such exciting news. AF hit me on 25th December - a week earlier than expected although I had ov'd early this month.

Maisie, your post on Friday could have been written by me. I am now in cycle 6 and feeling really despondent. What age is your DC? Mine is 18 months so I have gap-anxiety too. I don't think you need to worry about your eggs though. I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't get a high on your CBFM if you didn't have eggs as you wouldn't be ovulating. Good luck with the temping. It's good as a cross-reference. I didn't bother last month as it was my first cycle of the CBFM but I might start once I start getting highs as I'd like to pinpoint how long after my peak I ovulate.

Good luck to everyone for lots of 2012 BFPs.

Angelswings Mon 02-Jan-12 09:12:27

Putting my book on a window seat ready to return soon

festiemum Mon 02-Jan-12 09:15:16

Hey hey ladies! Grabbing a good seat now in the tmi section of the plane.

Just stocked up the biscuits and choc cupboard. <salutes>

Winkly Mon 02-Jan-12 09:15:32

Settling into my seat, glass of champagne in hand and flicking through the in-flight movies list! Hoping for a short flight :-)

Notinmykitchen Mon 02-Jan-12 09:29:10

Hi, thanks for the shiny new plane Count, just saving my seat, will catch up properly later when I have more time!

Liliana1 Mon 02-Jan-12 10:09:42

Staggers on board after lots of SWI and joins festie in the TMI section grin

<waves at moo, Kitchen and Dee>
<says Hi to winkly angels and badgirl>

Thanks for the new shiney plane Count, its looking fab.

Right, lets kick off where we left! Feeling really positive this month (this could end badly if it doesn't go well) DH is fully embracing the opportunity to DTD regularly and temping seems to be going well.

Have taken Rusulkas tried and tested advice and made a desk, cleared the clutter out of the office and installed said desk, now need to re-organise everything and paint (DIY skills are not on a par with Rusulkas but making the effort!!)

Right better got on with it. Have a good day all

louloubellamozzarella Mon 02-Jan-12 17:06:50

Happy neeeeew year ladies!!!

Just checking in so I can find you again smile operation MN detox going well for me, feeling more chilled about TTC now, hurrah.

Decided that this cycle will be my last trying before our wedding (although the date of that is undecided it'll probably be next winter). Ovd a couple of days ago - haven't been using my cbfm much this month so lucky I tested on ov day! Keep your fingers crossed for a lucky last try!

Anyway this was just meant to be a short message .... Just can't resist! I'll probably gve myself another week then check back in for the end of my 2ww.

Count, moowoo, deelite and all, hope you're ok. Glimpers, mrssharp and rusulka, hope your early bean days are going ok?? Keep us updated! Love and peace for 2012 everyone grin

Maisie55 Mon 02-Jan-12 19:29:32

Hi all, happy to be onboard the new flight!

Hi Dee - my DS is coming up to 20 months so it is gap anxiety like you say, I had wanted closer to 2 years gap rather than 3 but we'll just have to see how it goes. My BBT hasn't arrived yet although expecting it in the next couple of days so hopefully will be able to start the temping soon. AF still in residence anyway so not much to report as yet this cycle.

Going to try and cut out alcohol completely as far as possible as well (special occasions excepted of course!) and maybe get some conception vits, can you tell I'm starting to panic!!

Anyway, thanks for the new thread Count and good luck to all! smile

Discolite Mon 02-Jan-12 20:30:12

Nice new thread Count! AF still going on here, all very boring really. Maisie I too am going back on the wagon and am going to exercise, it may help, who knows...I have completely abstained before to no bloody avail but will give it another shot!

I am actually feeling quite happy, probably because whilst AF is here I can't do anything (or get DP to do anything, ahem) and I know I'm not pregnant so there is nothing to torture myself with! I also planted 300 bulbs, saw the latest Sherlock Holmes film and packed Christmas away today, so am too busy to worry anyway.

Hi Jbadgirl, Angelswings and Winkly!

Rusulka Mon 02-Jan-12 20:50:48

Hi ladies! Nice plane [strokes upholstery, adds golden grahams to cupboard]

Things going well here. Managed to avoid champagne on NYE by saying I was on my dad's liver diet (DH's friends didn't know he'd had a transplant), and the mini whiteboard in the kitchen will hopefully have backed me up- it details what he can't have.
No doubt the know-it-all friend will be adamant he knew all along when we finally spill the beans!

No symptoms apart from the GIGANTIC SORE UDDERS. Keep forgetting! Looking forward to first midwife appt, but not to getting told off about weight and diet.

In the absence of any of that icky baby dust stuff, I have taken it upon myself to liberally coat the plane in sex dust.

FX that this will be the year for all of you, I'll keep an eye on how things are going.

Lil great work on the office! grin

Winkly Mon 02-Jan-12 22:19:10

LOL at sex dust! Congrats Rusulka!

I am going a bit mad, AF is 3 days late, tested yesterday - BFN - but feeling queasy, and nearly passed out in the garage - but both of those may have been caused by price of petrol! Wanted AF out of the way cos going on holiday in a week and had lots of lovely SWI planned (hot tub...) So I could do with calming words please smile

Countmyblessings Mon 02-Jan-12 22:59:30

Ohhhhhhhh welcome aboard ladies! Old friends & newbies!!
So glad you have decided to join me aboard this flight which will be the last I feel it!! Feeling great now last year is behind me.
Doing this on phone so will catch up for real tomo after work!
Bye for now!
Agreed no seat beats required this is a short haul flight and we will be off before we can all say " POSITIVE" whoop!

<runs onto flight last minute, waves hello to everyone>

Hi everyone, we're TTC#2, DS is 2 weeks old (we'd like a small age gap!) but as he was unplanned(ish, we were trying half-heartedly) feel like we're new to the whole thing.
Not trying atm, have to wait 4 more weeks (had to get MMR jab after birth, recommended I wait 6 wks) but thought I'd mark my place & hand hold until then. grin

Congrats Rusulka!

Liliana1 Tue 03-Jan-12 07:28:42

Morning all. Weather is shit and I really don't want to even walk outside the door, let alone go back to work sad

Sorry for the early morning TMI but I've not had much cm - normally I go throught the textbook creamy, watery and eggwhitey but this month had 1 day of watery and then nothing - bit worried, does this mean I might not have ov'd this month? Did have a temp rise this am which would mean I ov'd on CD14, but had a really restless night and was awake long before 6am temp time so will have to see what happens tomorrow I guess.

Horse Wow, wanting another after 2 weeks! I'm not sure I would let DH anywhere near me for a looooong while - maybe giving birth isn't as bad as I imagine?!

winkly I was 5 days late last month for no apparent reason, however it does sound like you have some positive signs. Have you been testing with FMU?

Rusulka, thanks for the sex dust! Ouch to the sore udders and tell your midwife where to go about the weight, you're obviously active and healthy, (although healthy diet is prob a good idea for the bean)

Lou glad to see you back and feeling more chilled.

Thought I would start the stats again as can't be bothered with all the windows and copying and pasting

Have added in the BFP's to keep us all positive grin

Morning all <waves to all the newcomers>

Lil sometimes you just don't get that much EWCM! I don't, but then again I don't ov!! Although you temped at a different time, as long as you didn't move and if it was high then I would think it can only have been higher if you has temper later!! Fx'd for a sustained rise over the next couple of days!!

Just waiting for the remnants of hag whore to disperse before we get cracking with some SWI! Have my appointment this morning too!! Hope I get some drugs out of it!!

Back now, thanks for saving my seat, feeling. Rather nervous about flying again so soon after a couple of crash landings last year.
TTC #4 but after a big big gap, youngest 9 now. Not sure I'd have been ready after 2 years let alone 2 weeks, but then my cousins are 12 months apart and it was fantastic for them.
Is there sex dust on every seat?

Well consultant has basically confirmed PCOS and now have to have a HSG bit nervous as it sounds horrendous from the info sheet!! Anyone have any experience of these?

<crashes down on seat nearest to toilet>
Hi ladies, found you! Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
First cycle using my CBFM and 31 Dec/1 Jan I had peak readings with an egg grin
Was really worried I had missed ov, as Xmas weekend was at PIL and forgot test sticks.

Talking about age gaps, I would have had a 3 year age gap between DD1 and DD2, but now there will be at least a 4 year age gap between DD1 and DC3... Same as me and my sister, my mum had 2 mc in between the two of us.

So I've been weeing more often since this weekend. I always seem to get symptoms right after conception, I had it with my 2 previous pregnancies, but then I didn't know I had long cycles and ovulated late, so I thought I was 2 weeks late, which I wasn't. I'm trying not to fool myself this time, as last cycle I was ss as well and AF came. I'm on CD 28...

Mooley sorry you've got PCOS, but at least now you know it and hopefully they can help you!

Hi everyone do you mind if I join you? DH & I are planning to ttc #1 after my next af which is due at the weekend so I think i'll just put my coat on my seat for now and come back later in the week when I will hopefully have a better idea of what's going on with timelines.

Feel a bit in limbo at the mo as I'm just sat waiting for af so that we can begin!

Maisie55 Tue 03-Jan-12 14:49:41

Morning all, Moo glad to hear you've got some progress at least with the consultant, I havent any experience of the HCG but have heard good results on other threads so hopefully thats a good sign for you!

Hi all! Welcome newbs!

moo so glad you're getting some answers and they're doing stuff with you iykwim. Hope it all goes well. Xxx

blue your symptoms sound promising, but then again, I convince myself most months that I am pg!

Right, got to get dh upstairs tonight, if we're going to manage EOD this month. And must get him to put in a repeat for some lbp. Apparently, cos he's on nhs, he's only entitled to 4 a month! shock but he says if they give him hassle about it, he's gonna tell them we're ttc, so the alternative is that they pay for a round of ivf and we all know how expensive that is! grin

I understand where people are coming from with anxiety about age gaps etc. Before my ex left and my life took a different and unexpected tangent, I had everything planned down to the nth degree - I was such a control freak! But I'm learning now to go with the flow a bit more, and thank god! What with a mc and deaths etc messing with my cycle, the old me would be going mental by now!

Anyway, my two penneth! Adding myself to stats also:

Hope you don't mind but i'd like to pop on board to wish rusulka a HUGE congrats. I was with you on the July thread and sadly fell off too at 9+6. Not had AF since MC yet and feeling a bit down today but just seen your news which is bloody fantastic.
