Cerazette?

When I took the combined pill (Loestrin 20) I gained almost a stone in weight and suffered bad bouts of depression.

I've just been given cerazette and it's the first hormonal contraception I've taken since I had my bad experience with Loestrin!

I'm scared. I've heard it's likely to make me depressed and fat again - nurse disagrees.

Any insight welcome. I've just taken my first pill.

I was on Cerazette for years and I have a history of depression.

Cerazette did not make me depressed or gain weight.

And I didn't bleed for like 3 years!!

I'm off it now as I'm having some other girly issues, but it worked really well for me for a long time.

Another satisfied Cerazette user. I switched to it because I was getting aura migraines with the combined pill, horrible.

It also stopped my periods which I was very happy about. Just gone back onto it (after having DD...17mths ago Blush) and they went a bit weird but hoping now gone for another while.

Oh and my fertility returned within 6 weeks when I came off it, if that's an issue.

Good luck!

I went on to cerazette cos I started.having migraines. I noticed no.significant difference in my weight/hunger (unlike previous combined pill). Also suffer with depression and it didn't affect me. In fact stable hormones seemed to help. I spotted for a while.after starting nut it settled quite quickly and then I had a regular but very light af.
If you decide to ttc in the future, I'd suggest planning ahead when stopping cerazette and using alternatives for a while, anecdotally it seems to take a while to get out of your system (though docs would say there's no research to prove that.
I'd say gbe

Sorry stoopid smart phone! I'd say give it a few months for your body to get used to it in.case you spot, it usually stops being a problem if you persevere.

I gained weight but I think that was due to eating too much, not the pill.
Glad to hear you fertility came back after 6 month MsInterpret I came off it about 3 weeks ago.

It was 6 weeks Pipbin. Well, I was pregnant within 2 months anyway. Good luck if you're TTC.

My bad. I read weeks but wrote months. Still, sounds hopeful.
