Right. I am going to take the plunge and go for baba no. 2. I don't even know when the first day of my last period was. It's as if I never did this before.

I know I need to indulge in a bit of how'syerfather at the right time of the month, but that's about it.

Tips? What thread to join?

'While' instead of 'until', it's like I'm back in Sheffield. Grin

If you have a regular cycle, no known fertility issues that you're aware of, just aim to have sex ideally every other day or every couple of days if it's all a bit like hard work and give it a few months.

If you're super keen and want to know more about your body then the fertility friend site is good or Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.

Sometimes it's nice to just enjoy the process before getting caught up in ewcm, temps, cervix position and OPKs. Though if you really want to know, I can bore to death on most of it.

Re threads: You could just stalk for couple of weeks and use the elimination tactics like I did; most long active threads have specific 'types', I.e I wasn't over 40, I haven't luckily had a MC, I wasn't going through assisted conception, I wasn't using a monitor etc. The buses seem fun, but I've found a home on the charters thread. All threads have jolly nice ladies on them and will happily provide advice. Showofhands has already hinted on the best literature/website that pretty much everybody swears by and NHS has its own guidelines on their website. Good luck with your journey!

the 2012 thread is pretty laid back. :)
