basicly as above i have 3 children and would love one more but can not tell anybody we are ttc as no one understands why I have 3 let alone want 4!! Which I think is the worst thing of ttc having no one to tell or complain to :(
Am I insane wanting a large family or are my family right 3 is more than enough? especialy since my dh is in RAF and is being posted away in 3 months and we will not be going with him as we have our own house so he will be a weekend dad :( Anybody as mad as me?

Nothing wrong with wanting another baby, its only unusual now because years ago woman had huge families and through time we have more freedom to choose how many we want leading to fewer children. That was what was fought for though, freedom to choose! So if you want another child and you are willing and capable to look after another then go for it. Wishing you the best with your decision xx

Raises hand Yep, another nutter here Wink
Me and OH both came from families of 4, to us it's the perfect number - still ttc #1 though. Just ignore other people if they try to judge you for it, it's not really any of their business is it?

Try posting on larger families.

I'd like to join the 'strange' group please! [csmile]

Me and dh have 3 children together (aged 6, almost 5 and 10m) and I am so broody! Dh not keen tho [csad]. I think 4 is the perfect number, I'm the youngest of 4, and dh is the oldest of just 2, but his mum is youngest of 4, his paternal grandma is one of 11....
My mum is one of 5, dsis has 4....

You get it [cgrin]

We are surrounded by large families and I want one too dammit lol.

Any ideas how to twist his arm??

Both my husband & myself are one of 5 children so we've both wanted a big (ish) family.
We've had 6 children but our first daughter was stillborn so only have 5 children with us now.
Youngest is 22wks & we're ttc again.
We'd like one more....... well actually i'd like 2 or 3 more but i've already had 4 c-sections so i think 1 more may be more appropriate.

My sister has had 9 children (including 1 stillborn) and shes only 29 Shock ,my mum was 1 of 14 children.

Large family feel quite normal for us.

Glad I'm not the only one wanting a big family then :)

What cars do you all have? At the moment we have a Fiat Grande Punto, which as you can imagine is full to bursting with 3 kids, 2 adults and a dalmation. We need to get a new one but so Confused by the ones on offer.

DH likes Ford, so will probably go there, unless something lovely comes up somewhere else. Won't be buying brand new, more likely a 4-5yr old car.

Hi, I also have 4 so add another nutter to your list! I have a 13, 9, 3 and 10 month old. things are a bit tougher finacially and there also seems to be less time for me and my husband together but then on the other hand we are blessed and that is worth everything. Not everyone has been very nice about our last baby but hey who needs them?! On the car front we have a citreon C8 not a new one but love it as it has proper seats so even with the 6 of us in and two car seats it feels roomy.

Good luck xx

I just don't understand the people who feel the need to pass judgement on your family/ideas. We have a few family members like that! The sad thing is dh listens to them :(.

A Citroën C8 eh? Will have a look at those as I've hears good thongs about the bigger Citroën's.

Thanks fellow nutter Grin

xx
