Hello ladies!

I had a natural miscarriage on new years eve '10. Had my first period last month and have just taken a pregnancy test, (dont know why I did it but I just felt 'odd'), and it is showing positive. I did 2 of the line ones and this morning did a clearblue digital one to be sure!

Well anyway, I will only be 4 weeks going by LMP but I am already so so scared! We decided not to actively try again and to just see what happens! Didnt think it would happen so soon! I know I am lucky.

I just don't know what to do, do I go to the doctors now? or wait and see what happens? Are there tests they can do to check all is ok? I understand they cant be sure it wont happen again, think I am just looking for reassurance. I miscarried at 7+6 but baby was only 5+6.

Sorry for the questions but I am stressing far too much over this and it probably isnt helping me!

Thank you all for comments

Francesca - your Early Pregnancy Unit should be able to give you a reassurance scan at 6 weeks. Good luck Smile

I had a mc at the end of nov and got pg again without a period in between. I have lots of mxed feelings if I'm honest. I spoke to my mw and she booked me in for my booking in appt at 8 weeks and asked me to test again a couple of weeks before that. I am booked in for my scan next week and am 12 weeks now.

Worrying will not change anything, I feelverh much like I am quite detached. I'm hoping that will change after the scan.

I've had loads of amazing support from one of the regular threads on here. Talk if you need to talk but mostly just take care of youself.

Good luck x
