Hi there,

My husband and I have just decided to start trying for a baby. He had an undecended testicle removed at 17, his doctor has said it wont affect his fertility, and the the other one "just takes over". Does anyone have any experience of this?

Thanks.

I investigated some stats on this as DS had an undescended testicle (ended up having it lowered) as a baby. There's no reason why it should affect his fertility, doctors only remove/lower them because of a slight risk of the undescended testicle becoming cancerous.
