I have cycles that are 28 days and then 35 days alternating. I have VERY heavy periods and two miscarriages last year with bleeds throughout. I've been told since then that I have a cervical erosion so when I had a tiny bit of spotting on day 18 and turned to watery blood the next day then back to spotting for one more day. I thought this might be an ovulation bleed (I've only a mid cycle bleed once before and that was when I fell pregnant with my first). But I have only just got my very late ovulation positive on my fertility monitor. I've read that it's a lot harder to get pregnant with a late ovulation and as I need all the help I can get I don't hold much hope for this month! I had strong hip pain on both sides with the spotting and the same again now with low back pain. I also (and sorry if this is way to much information) had unbelievable diarrhea today. One minute I was fine and the next I was running to the bathroom. I've never had that with ovulation before. I had my second miscarriage in October so maybe I'm asking too much too soon of my body, but patience has never been my strong point.
Anyone out there had a weird cycle like this?

I would be asking your GP for a referral to a gynaecologist for further evaluation given your gynae history.

I would also refrain from using the monitor in your circs as they are not always helpful.

The underlying causes of the problems you are experiencing (your cycle would actually be seen as irregular along with the heaviness of bleed and pelvic pain) needs to be properly determined. A cervical erosion in itself would not be causing all this to arise. A gynae may want to evaluate you further to see if either endometriosis or fibroids are present as both these can cause heavy bleeding.

I've had lots o tests due to the miscarriages and a biopsy back in 2007 which came back all clear. My mum had terrible fibroids so that was something I was concerned about but they said I was fine.
I guess I'll just see what happens in two weeks. If I get a BFP I'll have a whole host of of other things to worry about.
