Hello Everyone!

I've just registered after looking around a little as me and my Husband have decided now is the time to 'get cracking'. Wink
We don't have any children so this will (fingers crossed) be our first. Very nervous but excited!

I hope to meet some other women in the same boat and hope to share advice.

Looking forward to saying hi to you all!

:)

oo lovely!

Yes 2ww is a horrid.. every month I tell myself that I'm not going to set myself up again and then before I know it all I can think about is those pregnancy tests in the bathroom just waiting to be tried!

I literally am POAS obsessive.

Is there a mental health term for the change in pyschosis for this period of our life?!

There must be. I know what you mean though; I do really well for the first week and then the second week (just started it now) I just want to pee on everything just in case there might be a line . And obviously everything is a sign too - ergh! Why do I do it to myself...?

Hmmmm, actually Indiarose I realise I am not selling MN as a place for well balanced support and company! I assure you most people on here are far saner than I am!

Hi IndiaRose, welcome. I'm in the same boat too and starting the 2ww today - joy! Hopefully the mad Christmas rush will distract us all a little!
Is there a thread of first-timers? I saw one full of graduates, but not one of peeps just starting out. Maybe we should start one!
Maybe this could be it! Wink

Hello, can I join in? After a sustained period of dithering, and a few months of not actively trying but not not trying, my DH and I have decided that 2011 is the year to give TTC #1 a go. Only prob at the moment is am only on CD2 so AF in full swing, can't wait to get cracking but have a long cycle so will be waiting a while before first OV of the year...in the meantime I'm taking the temping v seriously and have started a lovely chart!!

baby dust to all :)

Hey, I'm newly trying too! I never thought I'd be that bothered about having kids but 6 months ago it just clicked and now I'm obsessed. Truly. I've been symptom spotting even though theres absolutely no chance I could be preggers right now, its bizarre how every slight twinge of nausea sets me off to the bathroom cabinet for another test! sad really, its driving my husband insane.

Hello!

OH and I have just started ttc our first too! Not doing too well though at the moment - he's working really late nights which really doesn't help!

It's a strange state of mind to be in. I have become very obsessed with my boobs - "ooh they're tender, but a different sort of tender - does this mean I'm pg???".

I have to say though that the most difficult thing I'm trying to get my head around at the moment is all the abbreviations used on this and other sites....took me long enough to figure out what "ttc" meant!

I wish you all well - I am sure that if I do become pg I will be visiting this site a lot more.
