oh yes indeed I have! Grin Infact I spend many a pleasant hour whiling away my time daydreaming of names!

Campbell (but then thought of the soup varieties which put me off)
Anna-Lucia
David

And many more too! I think it's perfectly normal to think up names (we are only on month 3 of TTC1 but we've discussed names for years!), anyone who says it's never crossed their minds isn't being perfectly honest! Smile

Yes! And after every 'bout' of TTC we lie back and think of names Wink

We have been trying for a while now so the names are getting a bit far-fetched....Grin

My cousin has just had a little boy named Kai, it's very pretty :)

Just come across this thread and glad to see I am not the only one. Just started TTC but think we have already decided a girls name and a boys name, tried to think of others to keep the options open but just keep coming back to these two!

Oh goody not just me then! I had my names chosen last year - figured it would give me enough time to convince the OH!

I want to keep them a secret from friends and family until the birth (particularly because I know they won't like the boy's name) but don't see why I can't post them here - a girl would be May Francesca and a boy would be Stanley William!

I daresay I will change my mind if I go get pregnant though, what with the hormones 'n' all that...

We had loads of names (Inc middle names) before we even started TTC!

It started because we mentioned to DH's children that we would one day have babies together - we thought it was fair to prepare them. The subject turned to names, and one of his DDs suggested Jessica, and we just knew that was perfect.

We then came up with other names:
Olivia Danielle
Lyra Melody
Freja Savannah
Finlay Warwick
Oliver Rhys
Kyle Nethanael

... Before we started TTC! (wanted to TTC earlier but I was still in college)

Had a girl first and still decided on Jessica, it had become very popular but it was still special to us. Had a boy 2 years later but none of our chosen names seemed right somehow, so we had a new shortlist and one of them just stuck.

I'm not TTCing now BTW, just wanted to share. No more babies for us... Would love more but I can't handle it :o

Good luck to all of you :)

We were just talking about this yesterday morning! DH doesn't usually entertain those kind of conversations ('it doesn't need to be discussed till we're expecting'), I think he worries that I'm getting my hopes up. But we've been trying for so long now that I think he's given in and is trying to keep me cheerful!

We do disagree though...he is far more sensible than me!

I love Stanley too!!

We're planning at TTC in June for first child, but we already have our short list of baby names.

So excited.

I've been wanting to start baby making for last two years (since we were married), but DH has wanted to wait, so plenty of time for daydreaming.
