Hi, does anyone know if you can take something to make you create more of a uterus lining? I only bleed for one to two days.

Hello

Have you had your lining measured via an ultrasound scan? Having two day periods doesnt necessarily mean that your lining is too thin to support a pregnancy. After ovulation anything less than 6mm is considered too thin, and you could get tests done to see if the problem is hormonal and then treatment in the form of hormone replacement therapy.

If you google you can find lots of stuff that supposedly helps lining growth e.g.

baby aspirin (85mg)
agnus castus
red clover blossom
bromelain

But be careful!
The asprin you shouldnt do without checking with your doctor first, in case you have blood clotting issues and the agnus castus is very potent and will mess with any hormone tests you may have planned, so dont use it if you are undergoing tests or want to in the near future. Also NONE of these things are safe to use during pregnancy and therefore cant be used while you are TTC. You can either try them for a month or two while you use contraception OR use them only until ovulation and then stop.

If you are worried, ask your doc to refer you to a GP for a scan. Make a big fuss, and if necessary exagerate the problem

best wishes
