I'm having problems adding a local listing to enter the scooby-doo comp

(7 Posts)
Even more of an update smile: we've identified that this seems to be a problem for people using Explorer. We're still trying to fix it but, in the meantime, if you're one of the people using Explorer, you might like to give Safari or Firefox a whirl: you can download Firefox for free here
A little update for you all on the local listings glitch: we're hoping the Techs are going to be able to fix this today.

But, whether it gets fixed or not, we're going to extend the Scooby Doo comp closing date to midnight on Wednesday 25th Feb - giving you another week to enter.

And we're also going to offer you another way to enter, just in case the Techs can't crack the glitch for a bit.
Ok, we're on the case.

And if we haven't got it fixed by tomorrow, we'll work out some other way for you to enter the comp.

Sorry - trust us, we share your frustration with all this!

Nope, no save button.
Sorry to hear this, folks.

kslatts seems to have the same problem as you - see here

Can I just check that, if you scroll right down, you can't see a Save button?

I'm having the same problem.
Hi Mumsnet

I am trying to add a local listing to enter the competition to win scooby-doo tickets, but am having problems.

When I click on add a local listing, it takes me to a screen where I add short description, listing type dates. What do I do then? I have tried pressing enter but nothing happens and there doesn't seem to be a next or continue button.

Thanks

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]
For a no comment face, , type [biscuit]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
