Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

so if you've won once... do you get 'disqualified' from winning again?

(17 Posts)
because ages ago i won a prize and replied to MN that i didn't want it because my children were too young for it (that's before i realised they do eventually grow up... doh!).

but i wonder if, as a result, i am on some kind of blacklist or something [conspiracy theory emoticon]??

or maybe i am just unlucky...
I've been here 6yrs and never won anything <sulk>
I won once, was very very happy, but was allocated the girlie prize of lots of barbies and only have son's. I love entering, it is buying a lottery ticket, there is nothing wrong with hoping - even if I am more likely to be hit by a bus smile

I need a Wii for Xmas please... <shakes coppers out of very empty purse>
I only won a competition once but still haven't had the prize (supplier's fault obviously not MN) - though did wonder at the time if that stopped me from winning a Joggler to review the following week when I obviously deserved one SO much ...
I have finally won, this month, and have been here 6 years
hope i win again soon hhee

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
