Hopeful I know but my maisonette in London is very close to a zone 2 tube station (West End and City in 20 minutes), it's in a quiet, safe area of London (Clapham/Balham borders) with lots of cafes and restaurants locally and easy access to most of London's sites plus attractions such as Legoland and Hampton Court. It has four double bedrooms and a roof terrace and is generally thought to be quite comfortable and attractive. We have three children (10, 8 and 6) so we're set up for kids with lots of toys and games. Let me know if you'd be interested - I really, really like Whitby.
