dd is 2.5 and asked for chocolate (!), Mr Men books (got) and dress up toys (sort of got)....og and she said she had been a good girl! (ha!)

However she continually asks for things as and when she sees them on tv - I just think, TOUGH LUCK! (All our shopping is done and we have generally bought her and her brother what we think they would like, not what the ask for - is that wrong?)

grin

"Dear Santa claus, please may I have
my little pony
jelly tots
liqourice allsorts

dd (age 5) was most insistent I spelt out pretend iron for her to write, I don't think she wanted to risk getting a real one

(oh, and you have to imagine the writing sloping down, and she also drew a picture of Santa on the letter)

From Ds:

Dear Father Christmas
I hav been a good boy
Can I have 3 prazans (presents)

1. (he's drawn a picture of some glasses with wobbly eyeballs so father christmas knows what to look for)

2. 3 ds games

3. tv on my wotrob (wardrobe) (he's drawn a picture of his loft bed with the wardrobe next to it - tv on top and him in bed playing the play station!!!)

I really don't want him to have a tv in his room yet but I've got the other things!! This is the edited list. The one he started in October had to be cut wuite a bit because Father Christmas wouldn't have had room for anyone else's presents!!

Wilbur - could it be Martian Matter by Hasbro? You can get it from Amazon. It seems you can make all sorts of different aliens with it.

DD (5) did not write but got hold of an Argos catalogue and did a stocking collage job which includes:
A variety of babies with accessories. Told her that FC could only deliver one per child and did get her one from her selection.

Playdoh ice cream factory, made me write on the stoking "I really, really, really would like this one, please". She has asked daily if FC will remember this one. He had some trouble finding stock but one of his helpers came to the rescue grin

Barbie caravan playset - she might get Barbie DVD instead!
Barbie with Cat that wees! - have told her FC thinks it is a rubbish toy!

We are trying to convince him that FC may not bring him exactly what he wants hmm but he is convinced he will get it.

However he wasn't too disapointed when he didn't get the 2 'real shiny metal' axes he specified for his birthday so we may get away with it <sigh>

DD is only just two so she hasn't written a letter, but she has said very earnestly a couple of times that Father Christmas is going to bring a 'tick tock for my wrist'.

So there will be a watch at the top of her stocking.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
