I need to buy a present for my works Xmas dip, which sounds easier than it actually is!

Most years someone takes offense at something, so it needs to be something that could never be taken the wrong way. hmm

Also because it is just a dip, it can be for either a man or woman, age ranges is 27 to 66. It can't be alcohol, because there is a non drinker who complains about getting alcohol of some kind every year!

The limit is £5...so that limits choice.

Anyone have any ideas, because I am thinking bottle of wine..even although it will cause problems!! grin

Some sort of Christmas decoration?
Christmas householdy thing such a tray or bowl or candle? Or are they too feminine?

I was looking at a bullshit button on Play.com, but decided it would come under offensive grin Tempting and appropriate....

If you go down the silly route someone complains that it hasn't been done properly <sigh>

Lots of other good ideas, I will have a look at the stapler. Also liking the spaghetti fork.

Not sure about a book as they are all so different it would be hard to get something that would suit everyone, same for food (fussy), candles and decorations!

It would be so much easier if I had a specific person to buy for...but people complained about that too!!

Honestly, they take the fun out of everything!!

Thanks all so far!

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
