Anyone got any recommendations for one which is not too pink / ugly, is reasonably durable, is not too huge? Thanks

Thanks, duckyfuzz, that is nice and a v good price. Having moaned about pink, wouldn't actually mind one which was painted though. But will definitely ponder that one; be good nto to have to buy all the bits separately...

Just a warning from experience, we hummed and haa-ed about the very same one for our dd last year then it sold out and we had to pay some fleecing b....(add sweary word of your own choosing) about 25 quid more and postage to get it on ebay. It is nice and our dd and pals play it a fair bit, agree about taking out some of the bits. Have fun!

it is paintable, if you can be bothered - we painted ours cream with a red roof (because we happened to have the paint left over!)

If you like Playmobil, try the Modern House!

DD has one & you can even get a lighting kit for it- she also never seems to grow out of it smile

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
