Since I bought them, we decided to go to Lapland UK so feel that much as I am sure it will be nice, the Selfridges grotto tickets aren't really necessary now. Also, we are going away on 23rd so we are having lots of family pre-christmas get togethers in the run up to christmas and a trip to Selfridges is quite a large chunk out of a day that could be spent with family and friends or packing/generally getting ready for the holiday.

Am I being a wet blanket?

no, what will you do with the tickets, will they refund you?

Why not donate them to the Mumsnet Secret Santa? I'm sure StG knows of someone who would love them - and you'd get a nice warm feeling that you've done something lovely!

I doubt very much I'd get a refund. That's a grand idea Rhubarb - I'll run it by DH tonight and see what he thinks.

I think the Selfridges Grotto tickets are non-transferable.

Thanks for the link. Luckily this New Forest thing is something different. We are going to Lapland UK in Kent (DS thinks we are going on a plane to Finland and is going to be so disappointed wink).

Who do I need to contact about the Mumsnet Secret Santa please Rhubarb?

ignore the request Rhubard. I got off my backside grin and searched for a message about secret santa and sent an e mail to St G.

ah, sigh, i just saw this. if anyone does have any tickets they can't use to santa's grotto, i would gladly buy them from you or donate some money to charity, whatever you wish. I would love selfridges (the train thing would excite my son so much), but am open to other ideas. xx

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
