but is LX any good? they always look a bit dodgy to me....did you have a good experience?

I bought a V-tech smile through LX a couple of years ago via a code I 'bought' off e-bay.

Console worked a treat, Code for 50p got £20 off and although I thought I was getting into something dodgy at the time, everything went well. LX discovered what was happening a while after but too late - I'd paid my invoice.

Woolworths are doing 10% discount enter code WW1 and if you request to pick up from store delivery is free .

woolworths code is still working, i've just used it!

I just ordered with ELC - a couple of things for us and for my sister too. We saved £30!

I used an lxdirect code that I found on mumsnet and my stuff arrived fine - very pleased.

Littlewoods.com have sent me an email 20% off everything except electricals, and 10% off electricals. codes XX060 - 20% XX019 10%. Not sure if you need to have an account to use these though.

That site suggests if you spend £75 at ELC you'll get free delivery but I can't see this offered anywhere. Any idea how to activate it?

Some stores don't actually offer a discount AFAIKS - they just subscribe to the site as a form of advertising & link to their site - but never offer discounts. Some are very good (like ELC). I think delivery used to be free at ELC on all orders above £75 anyway - without a code - they are just 'advertising' this fact. Have just checked and it is now £100 - I think vouchercodes is just out of date. This is the first inaccurate example I have seen.

The way the site is supposed to work is that members send details of codes they find out about through other routes. E.g I have just had a letter with a code for 20% off at ELC until 24/11/06 - enter STAR at checkout. I should (and will) submit this to the site for everyone to see.

You can also let them know if a code is no longer valid etc. Will let them know that the free delivery one is inaccurate.

I think you would save more at ELC using the 'STAR' code for 20% discout anyway - especially if you plan to spend £75.

PUMPKIN2, I didn't plan to spend more than £75 but ended up spending £125 . STAR discount made that £100 with free delivery so given I bought about 8 things and they are all useful/wanted presents, I'd agree that's a bargain!

I used BT10 on Iwantoneofthose.com and got 10% off , no minimum spend. I used it yesterday and the parcel arrived this morning (at my mums in the UK). To say I am impressed would be an understatement. Customer service is outstanding-they have a live chat option so you can access a customer service rep online immediately for any questions. They also have a Saturday courier delivery option and Royal Mail, which is fab as most similar sites only do courier delivery 9-5 on weekdays.

umm, I ordered online from toysrus recently (ie within the last month) and they sent the goods plus a £5 voucher - only redeemable on line - with the promotional code 123527. Hope they are not repudiating their own offers.

I'd email them - they replied really quickly to me.

Just to report that I used the 10% off woolworths code recently and am still waiting for goods to arrive after 3 weeks! I ordered 5 items and every item has been dispatched individually resulting in many trips to post office sorting office. A real pain in the bum so wouldn't recommend them!

Don't know what happened with the toysrus code, it was a voucher they sent to me when I ordered something from them.

anniebear - I was already registred with lxdirect, I think that code is for new customers. I just registered again using a different email address and it gave me the £13.50 off.

ELC STAR 20% off should work until xmas eve.

SSD this is the trike I ordered Power Rangers Trike

It says on hee suitable from 5 years so should be absolutely fine for a 6 year old.

Anyone got a discount code for Hotel chocolat? I've tried the Voucher Codes website and it suggests some discount codes but HC aren't accepting them . Knowing that there are some codes out there, makes me reluctant to pay full price particularly since chocs will come to me and then i will send them out with other things (so 2 delivery costs). Alternatively, can anyone recommend other good chocolate websites?
