Bad tooth - Any experience of General Anaesthetic for children with Asthma?

Off to dentist tomorrow. DS(aged 6) has had a problem tooth for a while (since she did a little filling in it and the drilling damaged the root of the tooth).

She is now going to recommend pulling it out. I have a feeling she is going to ask me my feelings about doing it with or without a GA. He is mildly asthmatic, nothing too bad and no recent episodes, but just wanted to touch base and find out your experiences of either teeth pulling out, or general anaesthetics, so I am prepared for what she wants me to say.

Thank you

Thank you Pixie. I've searched past experiences and they all seem similarly reassuring.

How awful for your ds2. Resetting the leg without anaesthetic -
