Think dd2 11mths is teething but won't stop crying

Can't see any other symptoms of anything, no rashes or temperature, just keeps crying and whinging and clinging on and bursting into tears at nothing.

Husband has to be up at six, think I'm going to be up all night at this rate.

Not really looking for advice, just fed up, sorry.

Can't seem to do anything to help. She had some cough mixture about 11pm as she kept coughing. Just given her some Calpol in case it's teeth. If I cuddle her she cries, if I put her down she cries. Never seen her like this. Pretty sure it's just teeth. If she stopped crying for a bit she might fall asleep. Poor little thing.

Oh bless her, poor thing. When did you give calpol? Have you tried baby ibuprofen as well? You can kind of stagger the dose so you are giving something every 2-3 hours (but no two doses of the same medicine until 4 hours if that makes sense)

Do you live in a safe area? Would you feel safe taking her out in her buggy for a quick walk round the block/up the street and back? The fresh air and change of scene might calm her down a bit. It's not cold out, she would be fine in her pyjamas with a cardigan on and a blanket.

I left her shut in the sitting room while I've been in the study at the computer. It went a bit quiet so after a while I went to check and she was asleep on the floor. At last! Perhaps she wore herself out. (I didn't leave her sobbing herself to sleep or anything, I could just hear her grumbling to herself.)

Fingers crossed she won't wake up anymore till morning.

Thanks for the sympathy Nettie!
