Hard poo in a 7 month old

Sorry, it's a poo question...

DS has always had hard poos. He was ebf until a month ago when he started on solids. He used to have Gaviscon for reflux which we stopped once solids started. I presumed it was the Gav making his poos hard, but now we've stopped it, they are still little turds!

I don't really think it counts as constipation as he passes them relatively easily and there are plenty of 'em! The consistency is like stiff plasticine, sometimes harder and squidged together in little nuggets.......sorry...Bristol Stool chart 2/3 for any medics

I did think he might be a bit dehydrated but he's be taking more water/milk recently so I don't think it's this....plenty of wee too.

Any ideas? Too much solid food (he does eat quite a bit)? Is this a problem? Anyone else's LO had this?

What is he eating? Is there any fruit in it? My ds got a bit like that until I included more fruit, pear puree was a favourite with him, and diced apricot or some dried fruit if he has teeth.

Bizarrely now, he likes celery, cucumber, peppers and spring onion and we have the opposite problem.
