my daughter (5) has had a cold the last few days but nothing serious - she was off monday but we sent her in yesterday and today as she seemed pretty much fine. Her school sent her home about 11:00 as she is now coming out in a rash which looks alot like chicken pox. The woman in the school office implied that I was expected to take her to the doctor but I thought you were supposed to stay away with chicken pox? - she is fine in herself no temp or anything now.

Also I am 28 weeks pregnant I THINK I had chicken pox as a child so is there anything to worry about there?

worth phoning the gp with regards to your own position just to confrim you had it. But if it is chickenpox and yor child is otherwise well then she doesnt need to be seen.

I didn't take either of mine to the doctor when they had chicken pox.

If the spots are blistering and scabbing, it is likely to be that.
