Calling dentists... toothbrush recommendation amongs other stuff

What is the best electric toothbrush for children (well, and an adult I guess)? We've had the battery ones as a test and they are far better than manual ones but it's time to upgrade.

Also, DS2 apparently has a "complicated tooth pattern" and the dentist is toying with the idea of sealing them to make them easier to clean. Is this generally a good idea or does it lead to complications later on?

Children are 11, 9 and 4.

Oral B/Braun are the best for these ages.

They come in characters, if I remember correctly (been a while since I lived in UK)

or you can buy one base & several heads, so making a saving. But that may not be ideal if the kids don't remember to put their heads on!

Sealants are good, but he needs to be aware that they are not an alternative to good oral hygiene.

These are also good ages to introduce disclosing tablets, if they don't already use them.

Someone at the orthodontist we go to said that disclosing tablets were difficult to get hold of now for some reason. I forgot to look when in the chemist yesterday.

Oh, ok! Well Boots or Superdrug should (as in used to) carry them. If not, your dentist/orthodontist should be able to get some.
