diarrhoea since friday but fine otherwise - ideas?

DD started with bright yellow diarrhoea on Friday, explosive really - sorry TMI I know. She is 2.10 and coping fine so she obviously is having some warning it's on it's way.

It got a bit better yesterday but is back with a vengence today. She is very well otherwise, is eating, playing etc, no other symptoms at all.

There is a chance she had some milk on Thursday that was a day out of code - could it be that? Any ideas how I can help stop it? Any specific foods to try? Should I stop the apple juice?

As nobody else in the family has come down with it I am guessing it's not a bug in the sickess and diarrhoea sense of the word.

Please can anyone give me any advise please? She is usually a bit constipated so never has loose poo. Thanks.

DS was like this, for almost 2 weeks.
I talked to a couple of other parents who had similar, although it tended to eventually spread around the family a little bit.
I dunno but I never worry about diarrhea, it always seems to pass by itself (just a few nasty nappies along the way!)

DD2 is on her 2nd week of diarrhea. She has been seen by docs twice in that time as she also had a bad fever and was lethargic/not waking 'It's a virus' and then again when she still wasn't right and had a rash 'it's a virus and you have wiped her face too much'

JB - what a load of twoddle they can talk, as if wiping her face is going to give her a rash! Hope she feels better soon.

DD is not lethagic or hot or ill - just has nasty yellow poo. What is toddler diarrhoea?

AFAIK toddler diarrhea is when they have nasty squitty shits but no other symptoms, but am happy to be put right!
SHe does get quite dry skin on ehr face and has had a cold so I stopped using tissues as her nose was all cracked and started using fragrance free wipes, as I have done for DD1 and her many times before.
Turns out the virus doing the rounds presents with a spotty rash on the face and body Score 1 for me, 0 for doc.
