DS 1 swollen penis

I have noticed over the last day or two that DS (12 months) penis seems to be quite swollen and lumpy. There is no redness or soreness and it doesn't appear to be bothering him at all.

DP doesn't think it is anything to worry about and that its propably related to the sickness bug he is just getting over?

I have to admit to not being an expert in boys bits! Is it possible that general unwellness could cause this or should I take him to see the doctor or HV?

take him to get checked out, to the doctors though, if he needs meds, she can't give them to him.

my DS is just 2, and was fine one day, next morning his penis had swollen and was slightly red, i was seeing the doctor that day, but i switched it so he could be seen, she pulled back his foreskin and some white stuff came out, she gave us some antibiotics ficolexn or something sounds like that, and a cream aswell, it cleared up in 2 days,
he wasn't in pain unless he peed, but we gave him calpol and he was fine.
he was also getting over a nasty cold, and doctor said they are quite common, nothing to worry about unless they become regular.

oh and remember never pull his forskin back, leave that to the doctor.
