DD, 25 months, thinks its funny to put her fingers down her throat and make herself gag - is that normal?!

She's been doing it for about a month and I've just kind of ignored it and assumed she's just discovered her gag reflex and is experimenting with it. But it does freak me out a bit, worried about her scratching back of throat or something - she does it with plastic spoons sometimes. She had a V&D bug a couple of months bakc and we've also discovered that she gets v car sick (i.e. throws up within the first mile) so she's slightly obsessed with sick at the moment, which I guess could be it? Anyone else's DCs done this at any point? Cheers

They do funny things at this age. ds (29 months) has a horrible habit of rubbing his eyes so hard that he flips his eyelids inside out, so you can see the underside of them. Sometimes he does them both together and then walks around like that. It?s horrifying to watch and I?m sure it can?t be good for him, but I?m trying to ignore it and hope he loses interest soon.

Not the same as your problem, but I?m sure it?s only a phase. I think your ignoring strategy is probably the right one.
