Christmas sweets, whats better for teeth?

Should I drip feed my children their Christmas sweets, a small amount once or twice a day or let them eat them all in one sitting until they are gone? What is better for teeth/ health/ behaviour? They don't get sweets very often normally.

My dc were at the dentist on Hogmanay (I know, what was I thinking, booking a dentist appt on the most sweet-ridden week of the year!) and the dentist approved of just getting the sweets eaten as quickly as possible!

Let them have them all in one day.

if youa re worried re teeth, all at once then a good brushing

if you are worried re healthy diet, all at once on christmas day then never again

if you are trying to avoid the mad running-around sugar-high, one chocolate a day till Easter or all at once and unleash them on PIL
