hi there everyone,
i wanted to put this on as i'm really upset.
my 2yrs old DD has tonsilitis and is taking erthromycin suspension, due to the colours and sobitol(suger replacement) it makes my DD hyper, she is quite a lively girl any way and i don't let her have anything with in normally.
as a result of this, five minutes after taking her medicine she was so hyper she span herself round and round until she fll over and split her forehead open, while three adults tried to stop her.
this has happened before with nurofen and she can't have that any more.
there is previous thread on hear about this saying about having distubed sleep and hyper children with this medicine.
why would a doctor give this to your child? when a non coloured one is available.
