Cold has baby wired and so awake, help!

8 month old dd has nasty cold on her chest so not settling lying down. Have dosed her up and having just fed her a bottle to try and settle her she's thrown it all up :-( She now is really wired and I'm scared to give her more milk or medicine. She doesn't have a temperature thankfully. Should I just wait for her to burn herself out? When I put the light out she crys. Any advice anyone?

Has she had both calpol and calprofen? Could you put her in your bed?

Calpol, she's in my bed. The calpol must have come up with the milk though d'ya think? Should I give more?
