Projectile vomiting in 9 week old

My DS has been projectile vomiting first thing in the morning for the past 3 days. It's only once a day, and it seems to be just as he wakes up, so not immediately after a feed. I am fairly sure it's not pyloric stenosis (or whatever it's called) as it's only once a day and only started recently.

he's breast fed, and gaining weight very well indeed (about 8-10 oz a week since my milk came in), so I'm not hugely concerned yet, but the force of the vomiting is quite spectacular, so thought I'd ask on here before pestering the health visitor

pyloric stenosis doesn't start from birth, a friends son had it and it gets worse gradually.

Probaby not pyloric stenosis - the throwing up happens pretty much all the time, well it did with the baby I looked after. He also got ill really fast.

If it's just first thing in the morning maybe he has a air bubble that he sleeps through but when he wakes up it breaks and the throw up happens. When is is last feed before morning and does he burp well then? If he's just throwing up then and seems happy afterwards it's probably not anything to worry about.
