How long does "Slapped Cheek" rash last?

DD (4) developed a red rash on her cheeks yesterday. It looks exactly like "slapped cheek" syndrome, but it seems to come and go. Thought it had pretty much gone at lunchtime, but now looking quite red again. Only other symptom is a bit of a runny nose.

Does this sound like Slapped Cheek? I would have expected her to have more symptoms (fever etc).

Hello, my DD had slapped cheek. Started with the rash on her cheeks which seemed to move - I initially thought sunburn . The red rash then appeared on upper legs and finally she had what looked like wee blisters or insect bites on her hands and feet. It definately all went away after just over a week. Didn't seem to put her off her stride either.

the initial virus lasts approx 7-10 days but the child is only infectious until the rash appears. However the red cheeks can re-appear on and offfor quite a few weeks although they are not ill any more.
